yeah keep doing this.. what matters is that it will help a lot of beginners, also intermediate and veterans can try new things. the game can get boring if you don't experiment.

You know I love those gold kards/no tower gear videos. Those are the ones that brought me here and made me stay. So yeah, I know a lot of people don't like them, but rest assured they're just as good as any. Maybe better, since it takes a lot of effort and studying the game to make it possible. Cheers!
I know, i will keep doing them just not as much. Also, with newer characters like MK11 Liu etc. it is not as difficult as before. This tower is not that bad actually.

I never beat battle 184 on any fatal tower. This might be the first time i can beat a fatal tower.
Also instead of percsion since you rarely do basic attacks would it be better to use opportunist for the extra damage?

I’m so glad i don’t have to do this anymore i watch just to support your channel anyway once MK11 LK come out Assassins and MK11 Jade are no issue anymore.
Kabals are my MVP when fighting Jades. The Assassin one can't do anything against Kabals, so yeah, she's not the big nuisance she once was. I still passionately H4TE mk11 Jade for her passives, but there's not a lot we can do about that.

I used exactly the same team to beat battles 184, 185 and 190 (Klassic Kano, Hanzo and GM SZ). You actually cracked the code Shaolin Monk. I think all non boss battles are now beatable only using legacy gear and F2P golds.
I been doing it for 4-5 towers straight now so yes, definitely possible!

I used the same team I did for battle 184 in battle 185. Kano completely dominates this fight, but Hanzo helped a ton, too, making the fight much quicker. I only equipped legacy gear (no tower, krypt or fw pieces were necessary). Kano is at least an S- character. This is the best stun loop team I've tried (GM SZ, Kano and Hanzo). Thank you.
Cheers! I used KL Kano in many of the most difficult Fatal battles and i think he is the absolute best Gold card when it comes to F184/F185/F190/F196 etc.
@@ShaolinMonkMKM How do you use Kano in battle 196? The resilience modifier and Kabal's passive make the stun loop impossible (I think).
This is an amazing strategy. I always struggled beating Assassin's teams with golds.

I used to think KC Johnny was the second best F2P gold after Klassic Scorpion. I may have to place Klassic Kano and Hanzo in the same rank now.
Top 5 would be very difficult to rank but i think KL Kano is definitely there.

Gosh I’m actually stuck at this battle , after several attempts and in fact I’m so exhausted because it’s becoming annoying at this point
I finally beat fatal 184 white lotus tower with Klassic Raiden, MK 11 Fujin and the king of unblockable MK 11 Liu Kang. Took 3 days but I did it. Klassic Raiden did most of the damage with tag in damage to start, I used fujin for stun and hurricanes 🌀 but at the end I was down to mk 11 liu kang and he did it! Having weak point attacks max for snare was key

I've trying to beat the last 4 fatal towers only using challenge tower and gold pack golds, and only using legacy gear. In the case of the DQ tower, I just couldn't beat one stage (the assassin's team stage). I couldn't beat 4 stages in the Lin Kuei Tower and in the new BD tower I got stuck in stage 189 (and didn't go any further).
DQ tower i used 2 Gold Kano 1 Silver Kano vs Assassin F196. No gear at all!

I replaced Cryomancer SZ with Hanzo and I think it makes battle 184 easier and faster. I didn't even need FW gear.

You got extremely lucky, like 4 times in a row she didn't counterattacked you in the beginning. Your method is good but its very very rng based. I suggest using scorpion stun loop as its much more reliable. Using strike force scorpion makes it even more safer
I have to disagree my friend, i got lucky yeah but i also took risks that i did not have to. If i never took those risks i would not have to rely so much on luck. Scorpion would also have to take those risks in the beginning because lack of power though.. then SF scorpion is a diamond which is did not want to use. Btw i have not seen anyone else defeat this battle with Gold cards and no tower gear, let me know if you have seen it.
@@ShaolinMonkMKM the thing is with strike force scorpion you never have to worry about power generation. If you can stun jade once in the beginning with any other scorpion and even if you run out of power doing that you can always tag in sf scorp to steal opponents power as they will always have it generated. Plus in case of any mishaps sf will also save the other Scorpion. I understand you wanted to use just gold for beginners to clear this battle but I don't think beginners will have fx faction war epic either to complete this. Stun loop scorpion is much more user friendly plus sf scorpion is in krypt shop rn, people can also get him this week if they don't have it to clear this fight. I hope i could show you next time when i beat them, I also didn't use any tower gear, just power generation.
@@ShaolinMonkMKM also I wanted to mention that I did try your method before going with scorpion and then i realised how much lucky your run was as not just you survived 4 times is the beginning, you got lucky with jade tagging in later in the match and you using wrong character at the wrong time 2 times

I got stuck in battle 196. This seems to be the most difficult battle of this tower now. They cannot be stunned or frozen. How would you beat it with a gold team and no tower nor any krypt gear?

So, this is it? World's no1 famous brand warner bros studios, netherrealm studios, midway inc, ed boon and john tobias, milestone designers of mortal kombat and all releated co workers just said "lets make floor 185 and it just requires 15 minutes to do same things over and over again..."
Man, i just felt sad for myself. When i play first time this game, i was a child. Now i'm over 40 years. And just feeling sick for this round. This is not mortal kombat. This is not the game that excites us. This is a amateur designed game that requires 15 minutes to tap to screen. This is it. So sad.... Just feeling disappoinment.
Lol you can actually use gear and diamond characters to make it a lot easier for yourself. I just do these ridiculous battles to show that its still possible to do but yeah, takes forever.
@@ShaolinMonkMKM this is not what i mean. I beat this round with kc cage, co cassie cage and balanced kenshi. And i done only same things... Power drain combo Power drain snare power drain switch and cripple. And repeat.
Ah i get it.. they probably want to create a difficult battle without having to spend too much time on it. Pick a difficult team and throw in some Enraged, Sandstorm, Shielded etc and done. Lol.

ON 200 FATAL YOU HAVE FUJIN + MK11 LIU KANG WITH TANUKI THEY EVADE DEATHS MAKE SURE TO USE BRUTALITY OR FRIENDSHIP GEAR ON LEVEL 200 TOOK ME 4 TRIES TO FINISH 200 JUST BECAUSE OF TANUKI
