It's finally here. The protagonist of the Shonen series who represents the thirty year old otaku men and women from the anime/manga community, thank you Kaiju no. 8.
@@nuraimansukri they're not calling Kafka an otaku, just saying by being a rare adult in anime he represents all the otaku men and women in their 30's.
The reading comprehension on these people, OP's saying that the people watching this are 30 year old otakus and can now relate to Kafka for being in his 30's as well
怪獣 : Kaijū 怪 : mysterious/strange 獣 : beast/monster In japanese folklore, it's often used to refer to a large monster. Tho, some use kaibutsu or bakemono. But, kaijū is for the larger types of monsters. That's just my thoughts on it. I self-learned nihonggo, so don't take it as is. It could be wrong.
Kai-Ju means monster (usually specifically referring to building-tall-giant monsters) in Japanese. Yo-Ju, on the other hand could be direct translate into "residual monster". They are analogous to the magnitude system of natural disasters, eg. Earthquakes and aftershock that follows, major tornadoes and strong wind in the aftermath, and so on.
The term kaijū translates literally as "strange beast". Kaiju can be antagonistic, protagonistic, or a neutral force of nature but are more specifically preternatural creatures of divine power.
Dude thank you so much for covering this anime!!! Kaiju no 8 manga is one of my favorite manga, and even though the teaser didn't do the anime justice, the first episode iny opinion is *AMAZING* 😁😁😁
I’m honestly just here for the fact that everyone is older in this, it’s not another teenage superhero story. Kaiju No8 and Final Fantasy 16 out here proving that you can have Adults with Adult problems as your protagonists and still have the same troupes you normally have and that already sets it apart from other shows
He mistakenly thought the blood was acid.. lol.. that’s natural if you don’t know some basic biology.. it’s actually the stomach gastric Acid you know we also have that

This series will definitely be fun to watch but will fall off later on just like the manga did, i don't even know what the author is thinking anymore. It had such a good potential but oh well, we'll just have to wait and see if it picks up the hype again
Kaiju usually refers to giant monsters. And one of the most well known example of kaiju is Godzilla.
You know that your city is f**** up if the authorities added an extra red kaiyu light on every traffic light.
Idk how i missed that, but you're right lol that's hilarious
That just show how often kaiju appear lol 😂

I don't think he's otaku. he's just normal old man.
the dude is a normal 30yo. he obviously is neither meant to be portraying an "otaku" nor is he old. In what world do you people live?
