    Yes, all the debris in the pool for days, really looked bad for the company. Pool Logic made the top 3 out of the 5 we looked at, then there was Pepe's Pools, but we chose Pool Icons in the end to build our pool. Just started this mid November 2020.

    That's nice. But how did you fill it in just a few hours? That has to be 12,000 - 15,000 gallons. My 1" garden hose will put out about 10 gallons a minute with a 3/4" waterline and it would take a full day or a little more to supply 15,000 gallons.

    I’m just wondering how the pool or the water stays cleaned !? What if it get dirty !

    • @m.a.4829
      @m.a.4829 Před 6 lety +3

      The most common type of pool cleansing is chlorine. They come in tablets. If your pool is already full of algea then you need to shock the pool. This is just concentrated chloring that come in small packets. The size of your pool determines the amount of shock you'll need or chlorine to keep it cleaned. You also want to make sure your alkalinity is balanced and other factors.
      If your are talking about leaves and other debris a skimmer does a good job.

    @bassage13 Před 4 lety

    Can you tell us the price you paid? I'm in Phoenix and thinking about getting a pool. None of the pool companies will discuss prices. I have been looking at all of the CZcams pool build videos to try to get an idea of what people are paying, and pretty much all of the owners refuse to answer that question. I don't understand why.

    • @MattSvatos
      @MattSvatos  Před 4 lety

      bassage13 It’s all over the board on pricing. The look of the pool does not equal price. It’s all about options. Figure 50k for a basic good quality pool in the US and you can option it to the moon from there.....I think our out the door price was about 80k. Big, Deep pool with all the fancy controls, most efficient equipment, lights, extra jets in spa, extra pump, etc. We are very happy with it.

    • @franksmith4963
      @franksmith4963 Před 3 lety

      Just call a couple of companies and have them provide you a quote, if you are serious about it. Our pool will cost us $100k plus. And that price could be far more depending on what you want and the size of the pool. Phoenix is hot as heck, so it feels good to jump in a nice cool pool. Warm up the Jacuzzi in the winter and hop in to relax those muscles from all the hard work you put in day in and day out to pay for that new pool life.

    Question, currently have a new pool being built. They finished the shotcrete and did noticed that the umbrella hole looks like it goes beyond the concrete, noticed it when I was watering the shotcrete down seeing the water going down fairly fast (does not hold water) Should I be concerned about that and if so whats the best way to fix that with epoxy or add some concrete?
