THIS IS IT! I wasn't 100% sure until I saw the attack animation! Somewhere deep in my memory from 25+ years ago, a brief flash of mental images led me down down a list of games, despite not remembering the name. Suddenly I come across Fallen Haven and ancient knowledge awakened. The image of the game I remembered was so decayed I remember it as all green with varying shades. This is remarkable. The Internet allowed me to find something I briefly touched when my age was in single digits.
Thanks for sharing. I also have so many childhood memories from this one. I discovered its title again searching for all turn-based strategy games released in the 1990s.
played this game so much when i was a kid that the cd smelled like burning plastic when you removed from the tray. i also remember discovering a cheap way to never get attacked, just don't leave any space on the map for the enemy ships to land on.
The game looks a bit ridiculous now, but when it came out, I absolutely loved it. I binged right through the campaign. It all made sense with no manuals. So memorable.
Damn it! I came over this just earlier but it wasn't what I was looking for... I played a game back in 98-99 that could've looked like a possible sequel of this. it had no strategic phase so everything happened on the mission map. You directly managed buildings or set them to auto-construct your troops. you have like tank, light vehicle, hover car, helicopter (futuristic) and they'd work like rock-paper-scissors, one counters the other. You could play both turn based and real time. You could take control of a single unit in real time mode for advantages like tanks would shoot further. layout of the maps would look similar to what was seen in the video. And I have been looking for it since!
I saw a copy of this years ago in electronics Boutique. I thought about grabbing it but i decided on getting it day after. that was 13 years ago and I've not seen it since :(
Good game. I remember i got this one with a magazine called "time" here in spain for 500 pesetas (3 euros more os less nowadays). Its an unknown game that i think it would have a good remake now. Its a pity that it costs so much to install on win7

We're we at with this old pearl? Gog doesn't seem to take the hint, and at this point I don't think it's possible to get this game working on a modern PC. The only way I've gotten it to work is with an old Pentium 3, Riva TNT2, Retro PC. Such a shame.

Best nostalgia game for me! However, you are wasting far to much time in this video, you can conquer from year 2 onwards und definitely should to increase your income. That heavy army is not necessary at all.

yeah i tried that too but they sometimes used nukes to clear space for a landing. i gotta tell ya that was my first oh shit moment

Anyone who loved this game should try out Final Liberation, its combat is quite similar, no base building though.
