Kubota BX25D Re-reviewed at 200 hours since I bought it. How has this thing held up?

  • The single most expensive vehicle I've ever owned. I bought it in 2018 as a used 2012 and started using it right away.
    Over the years it's dug out an embankment so that I could add a garage to the side of a hill, and also dug out a massive area for a basement.
    It mows our 6 acers of land, and plows the 1/4 mile driveway. Does it hold up? Yes! I've had to replace some things over the years but overall it's a durable machine.

      My luck the battery will go bad during a snow storm- I am not shoveling a 1250 foot driveway

    Thanks for the review on the Kubota, there is a dealer about a half mile from the house and I may look at one in the spring. Thanks! Also I noticed the Beetle at the start of the video, I had a 72 that I drove 100 miles a day and JC Whitney was my VW supplier having everything I needed.

    I shopped around for almost 6 months before deciding on a TYM T25. Not only dose it out perform every other tractor in this range It was 5k less than green/orange brands {with loader and box scraper} nice review Eric thanks.
    The most used implement for me is the forks .

      @FarpointFarms  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I have pallet forks that I use on the loader part- I have used them so much for things I never even thought of- I used it to carry large amounts of brush (my back was very happy)

    I just got a New Holland and what a time and back saver.
    Have to get a backhoe for it differently.
    Look into a screen that sets into the fuel tank fill hole kabota has one or seen guys use stainless coffees filters or paint filters to keep the junk out of tank.
    Nice review thank you.

      I did a video on the filter for just that reason- It was very inexpensive and simple to install.

    Nice Eric, my battery in my Troy Bolt was 7 years old, finally how to replace it. if you take care of your equipment it will take care of you. It may sound odd but I was actually thinking of hooking up a small little Cobra cb on mine..... You never know.

      @@FarpointFarms Yeah, I was thinking of something like the Cobra 19 Mini. It's a 2003 Troy-Bilt rider, always in the garage looks like it's a year old. I outfitted it with headlight strobes tail light LEDs...oh yeah.

    I purchased a used B7400 with FEL this Spring from a local farmer. 550 hrs and a ton of minor issues, $2k worth, lol. I'm impressed with it's capability, moving mulch around the property. Just got it running last week. Do you recommend wheel spacers. Half of my property has a hill. I'm staying away from it for now.

    • @FarpointFarms
      @FarpointFarms  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Yes! I run the 2 inch spacers and it really does help. No negatives so far.
