  • Episode 3 of Exploring Te Anau we tackle the epic Percy's Pass trail.
    Description from Trailforks.com
This is one tough ride and not to be taken lightly, although the remoteness and surroundings in this epic part of the country will make up for it (on a good day). There is a remote bike carry section, long km's in big country, some incredibly steep rough 4WD tracks, and unpredictable weather. If you make it out, it's a rewarding experience.

Wow, you guys. I've been interested in getting up Borland Saddle by bike or car, but you've gone the whole hog. Great country in there. Most impressed with your videos.

Is the 'trail' fairly well marked through the bush just before the Borland road end?

Hi Elliot, I can't say I looked behind us sorry when exiting the bush section. Can u get a GPS route to follow as you wouldn't want to wing it around there. Good luck and be safe...it was pretty rugged carrying a bike through there.
