- This is an optimal setup for the fourth brutal challenge from Chadley. This is required for the Virtually Renowned trophy and is also a requirement for a collectible for the 7-Star Hotel trophy.

Materia, in general, is more balanced and less overpowering compared to Remake. So, aside from the basics (HP Up, MP Up, Healing, and Revive), feel free to equip anything that best suits your playstyle. If you are completely unsure, you can refer to the Army of the Damned video (czcams.com/video/Tc8j3f66vfM/video.html) for a general framework of what works for the brutal sims.
Additionally, for this specific encounter, it is recommended to equip Warding + Subversion to make round 10 easier to handle.
Incredible job. Thank you for the build and strategy, this worked for me! You’ve demonstrated the key really is to end the battle ASAP. Too many crazy attacks from the enemies if it drags too long…
That’s a wrap for the platinum trophy hunt for me. Fight is way too unbalanced even with maxed out materia, levels, and accessories.
Thank you i finally beat it, i tried multiple builds and guides but failed at different rounds... But with your guide and build i did it first try
My favorite part of doing this was getting to round 8 and casting an Arcane Ward, Magnified Firaga, only to discover the blob had his reflective shit on and wiped my entire party.
None of these fights are bullshit and they're all definitely fair.

Edit: Can't even get to Stage 10 anymore. Somehow I keep getting stuck on White Terror now wth...
In case you haven't beat it yet, bring Aerith, Yuffie and Barret. Barret casts Haste on Yuffie, Aerith casts ATB Ward on Yuffie, Yuffie spams Brumal Form in the ward. The other two gain ATB, Aerith spams -ga spells (be sure to link MP Absorb to your chosen element), Barret casts Lifesaver to take any damage the girls get, and give him Pray for easy healing. Thanks for the guides. Can you tell who should equip wardinng and subversion and at wich spot?
Ideally, at least two (any two) party members should equip it. You can replace any stat-boosting materia, magnify, or any of the spells. Your main point of offense starting from here should be Limit Siphon.

How are you starting with max Limit level on cloud?
You have to equip the Enhanced Expeditionary Medal. You can check the Army of the Damned video (czcams.com/video/Tc8j3f66vfM/video.html) for the specific loadout for the Brutal sims. For this specific encounter, it may also be helpful to equip Warding + Subversion to prevent instant death in round 10.
DO you know why I cant revive players in the 10th round against the toneberry and joker?
The Tonberry places a curse that prevents reviving.

This Challenge has my favorite version of Those Who Fight Further. It really feels like a real update of the classic track. Don't get me wrong, Airbuster is still kickass, but feels more of a rock version rather than an update
Warding doesent work getting one hit still…. This platinum is such a pain
I've followed your previous guides but I just can not get this one to work AT ALL. After like 30 attempts best I've ever done is Round 8 I only got there once.
Starting from this encounter, the primary strategy should be building your Limit Break for Limit Siphon. Magnify, in general, becomes less useful. You can try the strategy for Rulers of the Outer Worlds (czcams.com/video/6qfWQD3_XEU/video.html) if you are having trouble taking advantage of Limit Siphon. Be sure to equip Warding + Subversion on at least 2 characters for round 10 as well.
@@TrophyGuide I'll give it a go, I've not really been having trouble building limit though, I've noticed watching the video that like you'll cast a spell and get a few hits in and the enemy is staggered, I do the EXACT same thing, and the stagger bar is only 1/3 filled and I don't know why as I've already grinded to have all the materias maxed, but I'll try the build from Rulers and see what happens.
If you’re referring to round 1 and round 10, you can see that Aeroga hits them more than twice. Aeroga, by nature, will hit both enemies if they’re close enough, allowing Magnify to hit them again.
@@TrophyGuideUsing the loadout for Rulers of the Outerworlds did the trick, it was a much longer overall fight for the 10 rounds, but I got through first try all 10 rounds with that setup (Plus the Warding + Subversion) cheers!
