When I was about 7 I visited my grandparent's and they put one of these cookie tins on top of the fireplace, where most of their snacks for guests were, so I grabbed it to get a bite but once I opened it a fake plastic cockroach was inside tied on the lid so it flew out. I immediately dropped the whole tin. Everyone looked like they waited for it to happen and laughed but I sat there feeling scared and extremely upset. Free trauma. I now have a very bad fear of cockroaches. 😢

My generational trauma was that we would have ice cream containers but instead of icecream it's either marinated fish, dried fish, small dried fish, basically fish.
And because of how i always opened the fridge even though I knew nothing was there, when I saw them I got a little excited but always ended up being disappointed.
