  • The greatest issue facing Christians in any context is NOT the circumstantial dimensions, but rather the presence or absence of perception. In this sermon from Pastor Lee Cummings, discover how your spiritual understanding can either grow and mature, or be stunted and hindered based on your vantage point.
Shifting our perspective about who God is as our father changes everything.
Having eyes to see and ears to hear is not just about physical sight and hearing, but about understanding and perceiving spiritually.
Jesus's primary purpose was not just to go to the cross, but also to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom, perform signs and wonders, and mentor and disciple future leaders and apostles.
Jesus spent three and a half years developing a kingdom of God framework within his disciples so they could see the kingdom of God.
Jesus sees the multitudes as sheep who have been scattered and abused, challenging us to perceive and understand a different way.
Jesus' use of "not yet" is an invitation for growth and maturity, rather than a condemnation of inability.
Jesus is on the throne forever, regardless of the outcome of any election.
The kingdom of God is like leaven that transforms our perspective and enables us to see our circumstances from a different vantage point.
Seeing from the lens of the Eternal kingdom of God changes our perspective on our circumstances, not the circumstances themselves.
Yielding to the Holy Spirit is essential for gaining the perspective of the kingdom of God and seeing from the vantage point of Eternity.
Jesus confronts his disciples for not perceiving and understanding who he is and what he's capable of, highlighting the struggle with mindset and perception.
Jesus warned about the impact of the mindset of the Pharisees and Herod on our ability to perceive and understand.
Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leav of Herod, as Jesus equates them and warns against their influence.

    Amen and Amen.
    Praise the Lord!
Thank you for your message "having eyes to see" Pastor Lee.
My understanding has always been "God can do anything, there is nothing He cannot do."
I have always believed that, and, still do. But, it is still amazing how Jesus fed the multitude. That miracle and others He performed, never fail to amaze me; they show His heart, His loving-kindness towards mankind.
Grace and spiritual blessing be to you and [soul] peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
