The conversation was very short! Then, another realtor was very discouraging about single people moving to/living in Rapid City😢 ! So, tell me why is a retired, university educated, hard working, senior citizen discouraged from living in Rapid? I finally see my vision unfolding once again in Rapid City! A condo with a view of snow capped hills, me pacing my comfortable and aesthetic condo as I WRITE!! 😂 So, what harm will this single, senior lady cause to your appealing city? I'm so happy that I happen-chance saw your online real estate article! 😊🎉😅
Wow I'm sorry you had bad experiences...I'm certainly gonna tell you pros vs cons, but then it's up to you to decide if it's what you want or not. Plenty of retirees living in Rapid! Many of them love living here despite the cold winters. I'm here to help!
With the regulations of a condo association (and the limited number of condos available), you'll find more opportunities with a single family home. Those you can rent out all day. The condos are gonna have rules...and those rules could always change. One day you could rent it out, the next it's off the table. 🤷♀ However, with the maintenance free living part of it - that eliminates alot of worry from an investor stand point. You don't have to hire people to address issues.
