- Let's go North! North of the Mall, that is!
Drive along with me as we check out Auburn Hills subdivision - a newer subdivision with homes built in the early 2000s to an active new construction community today.
We also talk about schools, shopping, distances to all the things, and more.
Let's drive!

No snow in January. WOW!
It was a really crazy year. We had so little snow. And it was probably 40 degrees this day. 😳 🤣
I assume that the older neighbors are near the river?
Yep it started downtown then expanded out from there. Anything new is north, east or south.
Found out my company won't allow me to work in South Dakota. Only one of four states we're not allowed to move to and keep our job 😥
Did they say why? Is it because SD is so conservative?
@@paulconnors2078 The other three states are California, Alaska, and Hawaii. So that's probably not the reason. All other states are on the green list. I've had coworkers move to North Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida.
Weird! What a bizzare list of states we are a part of. You should send them my videos. Haha.
I was in Rapid City 3 week ago (April 2024) and in my opinion the development houses are unoriginal and ugly and on very small plots. With driveways barely long enough to hold their cars or trucks. RVs parked on the property was also a real eyesore and the tracts had no trees. Really, really boring, ugly and uninspiring.
If I do move to RC, it won't be in any of these UGLY developments.
Yep that's what happens when you are trying to make things as affordable as possible. Some of the older neighborhoods have more character, trees, and space.
