- Parasite is the king of burst damage. The first shot deals an absurd amount of damage with 20 stacks, but then it falls off immediately. But that’s fine because we’re pairing it with Cuirass of the falling star. This will double the damage of your thundercrash super. So what you can do is go into a boss fight with parasite, immediately pop super and slam into the boss, and they’re probably dead. Especially if you have a full team of people doing the same thing.

Thats a strategy only on atraks which has relatively low total HP compared to other end game bosses. You dont even need the falling stars, you can have 6 nova bombs which are the lowest damage single use super with parasite and still one shot him.

Now I have the dumb idea to do Nighthawk Marksman Goldie, followed by max stacks Parasite, then swap to Still Hunt and try to pop off as many Goldie shots with it as possible during that damage phase... Is it stupid? Probably. Will it work? Possibly. But if it does work... I guess it isn't stupid lol.

Looking at that clip I'm pretty sure the new nighthawk super sniper does more damage which is crazy cuz it's a special weapon

lol I just used this against atraks myself. My numbers are lower than others probably but I got about 243,000 from parasite and 401,000 from falling star crash plus whatever other effects go with it I was getting about 750 - 800k total damage
That combo is truely the raid grinder

This combo has been my main since Parasite came out lol
It’s still rly good overall especially with solar holster working with it, meaning you can swap dps with double pellet shottie
Fun fact: the new Titan exotic that launches mini rockets deals more damage than t-crash so shoot parasite, activate thruster, then hot swap to cuirass to instantly atomize every enemy of the Traveller ever. (Rocket sidearms are also boosted by hazardous propulsion’a passive so while subsequent shots of parasite doesn’t get the boost, your rocket sidearm will.)

It's the king of no burst damage with cascade point, B&S edge transit existing ~ also only works on no-healthtrax

Try hazardous propulsion + rocket + thruster + frenzied blade + concecration + twilight arsenal + any dark debuff. It takes a little longer than parasite and cuirass and requires much more setting up, but I am genuinely curious how good it could do.
Also, upcoming solstice brings a crowning duologue that can roll reconstruction and bipod. Keep a lookout for that.

Idk if celestial works better but after it’s recent shadow buffs nearing the end of season 23, I’d say celestial + parasite is better. Maybe even star eater BB
Yeah but Celestial may be a bit tricky with your team causing 4th of July to go off in Atraks' face

I found that star eater blade barrage with full stacks does more damage

A good catalyst for parasite could be that it makes ignition on scorshed targets
that Atraks at the end is a bit misleading. he was dying on 2/3 titans with that armor as soon as it was available. currently it is no mean feat. I'd say it's a bit of a shame if it's not made for one phase
