If Saka had decided to score instead of playing for a penalty, Arsenal would have won. Mikel also made some deployment errors. In particular, fielding Martinelli instead of Jesus. Tomiyasu would be a better option compared to Kiwor. Jorghino for Partey, was another error. Arsenal does have a good chance for the double, especially the EPL. I think they will beat Bayern in the second leg of the UCL quarter finals. The basis is that they are currently a better team compared to Bayern Munich.

I don't think citeh care too much about the prem this season. I think for them It'll be nice to win it again but back to back champs league will be the holy grail. I do prefer the removal of the away goal as, as long as you’re still in the tie after the 1st leg it makes the 2nd so much more important. You won’t have city scoring 3 in Madrid and trying to shut up shop at home as teams used to do, now you have to win the game.

Don't agree. Arsenal has the hardest run-in for sure. Much will depend I think on the CL progress. If Arsenal go out, I'd make them slight favs, but if they go all the way to the Final, then I see man City having the experience and squad size to win the Title again, as Arsenal tire. Arsenal just don't have the go-for-it attitude that would help them win trophies. I came to that conclusion after they played for a draw against City, they lacked commitment to the task and wasted an opportunity to grab the top spot. At least Liverpool helped them out, unexpectedly. When Saka had that last ditch effort in last night's CL match, he could have taken the shot, but instead hoped for a penalty to be called. It wasn't and another opportunity was wasted. Until they truly believe that they CAN beat everyone else, they will continue to play safe and hope for the best. Not the hallmark of a champion. I like what Arteta has done thus far but he has got to nudge them forward a bit more to get over this hurdle.
