That red Olive navy outfit is so stunning. Just won my subscription!
I love this new format of video with the cutouts!
i'm so glad i found your videos 😭 we're the same height/body type/clothing size and it's so nice having a good idea of how something will fit on me before i order it! just wanted to say thanks for making so many good vids :)
Your channel has helped me so much. As I’ve gotten older and became a minimalist it’s important that I can switch up my outfits without buying new things all the time.
In September I found out I had breast cancer after going to the Dr over the stress I was having from my Doberman who started having seizures the month prior. So long story short they found it super early and Venus saved my life. I avoided radiation by having a double mastectomy because I have the PALB2 gene mutation and didn’t want to wait around on it to come back so I chose aesthetic flat closure. Now that I have a flat chest and I’ve been working out to make sure I’m taking care of myself so it never comes back I’ve lost 20 lbs also. It’s scary but nice that I have a whole new body shape to style.
I’m learning Japanese and always loved the culture and style so your tips have helped me style my current Japanese inspired pieces to look better on my 5’5” newly flat chested petite frame.
ありがとうほざいます❤
Your positive attitude is inspiring!
@@athag1thank you for your kind words, I hope to keep a positive and happy outlook on life and wish the same for others ❤
Can't wait for 100K Subscribers Helen🥺🥺🥺💞❤️❤️
Swapping for a middle color is a new concept that resonates for me. Being a deep Winter, I have a lot of black and white and strong jewel colors. But my hair is aging from my dark brown (black) so, mid-range colors are probably flattering now. I also liked the Tibi color wheel you showed a few videos back. Great video! So many good examples.
The last two tips (lounge wear and changing out one item each time) are great. Mine would be if you find your outfit is all safe colors like black, blue and/or neutrals, add one or two really strong unexpected colors or patterns in a scarf, bag or outerwear to make the whole look bolder.
Adding a pendant to the catch of a simple necklace is brilliant
thanks for pointing this out, I overlooked it and only noticed now :O
I'm trying to step up my colour combos game. This was very helpful and I'll try to remember it when putting together an outfit 💛
I love all these tips! Recently I saw a "333" challenge where you get 3 tops, 3 bottoms, and 3 pairs of shoes and find all the different outfits you can make. It can really stretch how you think of your existing pieces. It's best if each piece has a different level of formality or a texture / colour etc.
Jewellery is the thing I struggle with the most. Finding pieces that aren’t expensive but still do the trick.
Love your style ❤
Love your style, thanks for these these tips :)
Such a great video! Thank you
these are all GREAT tips, thanks!
Your nails are always so eye catching to me. Gorgeous! 💜
I’m obsessed with your green and gold enamel piece!
Great advice again.
Very helpful video🥰, thank you so much.
Great video Helen, thanks for sharing! Exactly what I need ❤! For me it's changing one piece to make it more casual still dressed up or playing around with a textured bag really can make the difference. The jewelry is sth I still need to figure out what suits best to my style
Great video, as always! Thanks a lot!😊
I have been learning so much from your content. Very practical but easy and stylish (so many of the "petite" tips always seem to focus on 1. Wearing high high heels, or 2. Standing tippy toes when posing. What colour season are you?
Really great tips, thank you. That example of red with grey rather than black is very instructive.
Great Tips - Thanks Helen! Have you considered making a video on how to clean and take care of different types of clothing? Would love to learn how you do it?
Great tips. I love how you styled the navy corduroy blazer! Is that the Everlane 80s blazer by chance? I’ve had it in my shopping cart for a few months now, but I haven’t pulled the trigger because I wasn’t sure how I would style it. I’m inspired by the way you styled it with the taupe trousers! It really is a nice alternative to the black blazer. - 😊
First time viewer here, and I just love these simple ideas to update your closet! Subscribed and looking forward to the new year watching you!
This video is really great! You talk about so much levers I've never identified.. I saved it to come back and give me booster shots! Thank you for your work.
That red top looks really good on you or you look really good wearing that red top :)
Hi,may I ask where did you get that red zipper sweater? love the look
Hey Helen! Super helpful tips. I've dug out some pants that haven't seen light of day for awhile and thinking to get them altered :-) Just as a gauge, can I check how short you altered the Uniqlo pants to? I'm the same height as you with similar proportions, so curious to know how you went about it.
Where is your green bag from? I love design on the side / viewed from the front!
What is it that you said about only working with a part of your wardrobe at a time?? I'm curious as to why and how you do it
I love your tip for swapping long trousers with short when worn with s long coat, and it looks great on you, but I think this is a petite style nuance. At 5foot9, for me the equivalent tip would be to always try to swap something cropped/short with longer. I can totally wear long coat and long trousers and it looks like it was made for me. While when I have cropped tailored trousers and cropped moto jacket for example, I just look a little silly, as if I wore my younger sister's clothes. So when I have two shorter/cropped pieces, I just look so much better when I swap one of them for a longer version. Hope it helps some people in the comment section:). I love your style and I can learn socmuch from you, but I need to be aware of making adjustments to my own body:).
I’m 5’7 and cropped pants almost always look like I just bought the wrong size. 😅
I like adding a scarf or necktie or bandana. I love my corduroy trousers 70s style and took my inspiration from Carolyn Bessett Kennedy for how to wear them, please check her out, her style is timeless and fresh, a wonderful chic lady sadly gone too soon
Where is the black bag from the thumbnail and at 5:40 min from??? Main reason I clicked on the video!
Omg the video just started and I already feel guilty 😅 I wear black skirt, black jeans, black trousers, black leather pants, black coated pants etc 😅
to be fair, black is more easy to style, since it does not have too many shades that clash with each other. I try to incorporate more color into my wardrobe, but so often the color shades clash with each other, especially when buying online
Please tell us again what is on your lips❤❤❤
I think another reason that swap no.5 works is that red and green are complementary colours, so they draw the attention to each other.

@ *amzrepo* Bolsa réplica 1:1 con imagen reflejada, resistente y resistente al desgaste. Me gusta mucho.
Not on point, but I always covet your footwear. I don't suit overly dainty shoes and can't really wear super clunky ones either. You find ones that are perfect.
I love your commentary on colour too. I think it's very sophisticated but easy.
Lol a little bit brown ..yanno taupe! Like you're sick of your own sh*t. Lol I imagine describing things get tedious sometimes. Just made me giggle over here.
It’s better to change your hairstyle
