“Watch BTS of Pulwama, Balakot and beyond…” Lara Dutta, Jimmy Sheirgill on upcoming show ‘Ranneeti’

Bollywood actors Lara Dutta and Jimmy Sheirgill joined ANI for an exclusive conversation about their forthcoming web series ‘Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond.’ Directed by Santosh Singh, the series is set to release on April 25 on Jio Cinema. Featuring Jimmy Shergill, Lara Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, and Ashish Vidyarthi, the web series focuses on decoding the warfare in the current scenario which is not just fought physically but also involves social media, tactics and secret political moves that can reform geopolitics completely. Speaking to ANI, Jimmy Sheirgill said, “You will get to watch behind the scenes of the attacks like Pulwama, Balakot and beyond… It was a challenge to play a RAW agent because they are the real heroes who plan everything from the back but we don’t get to see their real faces. It feels bad when people say retaliating back against the terrorist attack propaganda.”
During the interaction, Lara Dutta shared insights about her character and the importance of social media in the current scenario. Praising the cast of the series she said, “The ensemble cast was one of the most important reasons for me to sign the series.”
