San Juan Bronze First Season Concert - Concierto de Primera Temporada de San Juan Bronze

This is the first concert of the new handbell ensemble in Puerto Rico, the San Juan Bronze. We started this project to provide a platform for former handbell ringers and conductors in Puerto Rico to keep making music with the instrument we fell in love with so many years ago, which shaped our lives positively. Now, as adults with careers and families to tend to, there wasn't a handbell ensemble we could join with our limited time, and there wasn't a handbell ensemble for adults at all until now.
San Juan Bronze Handbell Ensemble has a spectrum of ringers with experience ranging from 3 months to 40 years.
Campanissimo, the handbell ensemble from the University of Puerto Rico at Carolina, will also perform in this concert.
Both ensembles are conducted by Carlos Enrique Rivera Aponte.
