Pineapple Upside Down Cake Simple and Easy

  • Pineapple upside down cake is so delicious. We have simplified it so much that you can make it in about an hour. If you have fresh pineapple by all means use it, but we simple use the rings you can buy in the can. They fit perfectly into a 9 inch cake pan. As always, you can alter the recipe according to your liking. For example if you want it a little sweeter, add more sugar. If you're diet conscious, add a little less.

Due to the simplicity of the recipe, it's great when friends suddenly show up for dinner. The kids will love it as well. It keeps nicely for a few days. I never put mine in the fridge as the edges tend to get hard. Simply leave it covered on the counter at room temperature. Watch the video and let us know what you think.

I've made it this morning for the first time in my life, and I just woke up from a good nap and had a piece with some coffee and I think I've never been happier, I literally had to hold myself from having another piece, I swear EVERY bite was magical I can't believe I made that myself lol. Thank you chef I'll be making this constantly!

For many years, been making pineapple upsidedown/rightside up cake. After adding cake mix over the brown sugar/butter/pineapple layer, add another brown sugar/butter/pineapple layer on "top". Cover with foil, bake same time as shown above, remove foil last 10 minutes. Outstanding results with MORE pineapple! :-)

This was very helpful- I had a practical in food tech at school today, and this was what we were baking, unlike everyone else I didn’t prepare at all but I watched this video last minute and it helped a lot! Thank you 😊 (the cake ended up really good)
