Hey y'all! We're Chris + Sara (or as you know us, Letâs Be Us), a husband and wife digital nomad travel duo currently working and traveling full time with our pup, Kramer. We've always dreamed of traveling full time, and in May of 2018 we took the leap and made it happen! Today we're balancing work and fun everywhere between the Pacific and Atlantic. From hiking and cycling to tacos and coffee, we're trying to see and experience as much of this world as we can! While our home is currently on wheels in our DIY Sprinter van, our travels take us all around the world.
Be sure to hit subscribe here on CZcams and follow along on Instagram for more daily fun! Oh, and be sure to say hi while you're here. :)
We made a mistake in our video... We said we always use a polarizing filter, but we meant UV! đ I've linked the correct filter in the description. Sorry about that!
10:35 the tattoo ŚŚ© ŚȘŚ§ŚŚŚ nice! there is hope.
Thanks for the breakdown of all your gear!
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching the video Nick!
Thanks for sharing this video. I appreciate the great tips!
Glad it was helpful!
Cool roundup of the gear you yourself use. I like that you're getting alot of mileage from your current gear (not necessarily the latest and greatest) but tried and true. That works for you!
Beautiful color settings on this!
Thank you Jenn!
So intetesting. And you didn't even talk about cloths. I never really thought about how much stuff video creators need to do their craft.
Great video guys
Btw Chris sometimes reminds me of Mark McKinney (Glenn) from the Netflix series Superstore
Great round up guys! That little MV88 iPhone mic is so slick right? We luv oursđ
It's the best, isn't it?! It packs a punch for being so small!
Hey, aerosol carpet cleaner (woolite?) with the attached scrubby on top is a fantastic way to clean fabric items that you canât just throw in the washer.
Oooo Iâll try that out. Thanks so much for that!
Couldnât agree more! You donât need to have the latest and greatest stuff and spend thousands of dollars out of the gate. Side note: we just bought the Wandrd 6L sling for the parks and we can literally carry our camera body and 3 lenses in that thing! Highly recommend.
Love that! We need to buy one of those. It would make the run and gun a lot easier.
Okay, this answered all my questions! Thank you!!!
Of course!! I'm so glad it was helpful!!
Oh thatâs so cool I love putting stickers on stuff as well
It's a fun way to remember our favorite places!
@@chrisandsara yeah I wanna order something and it doesnât come with a sticker I get upset thatâs why I love getting stuff from Apple or Peteâs pirate life always get a sticker
Love the listing of the equipment and as you (and Kate) said you don't need all the high-end stuff to start off with. Honestly, I wish I hadn't purchased a drone as I find that I really don't use it as much as I thought I would, plus battery life is not as good as it was purported to be.
Yes! We've certainly purchased equipment in the past that we don't use as much as we thought we would, too. Gear just allows us to tell a story, but it's not essential to the process. e always recommend growing into new gear as your skills develop. :)
Thanks for sharing this video!! It's always interesting to see what other equipment creators like to use. I'm interested in investing in a good camera bag, I'm definitely going to take a look into the ones you guys recommended!! đ
So glad it was helpful! :) We do both love our bags, highly recommend either option! I should have noted in the video that the 30L Peak Design backpack that I (Sara) use works great, but for longer hikes it's a bit large. The surface on the back portion of the bag is wider than what's comfortable for my shoulders so the 20L might fit better if you're short/small like I am. âș
@@chrisandsara I appreciate the advice. Thanks! đ
Great video! I think you may have meant UV filter not a polarizer. Polarizing on a lens can do a lot of funly things to the image for anyone whos inexperienced. I noticed you have some type of diffusion filter on some of your clips, which one are you using?
Oh man, we totally meant UV filter! đł So sorry about that but thank you so much for catching that! I'll go back and pin a comment to clarify for everyone else. đŹ We use the Black Pro Mist Filter sometimes, maybe that's what you're seeing in some of our videos?
I like the reviews of equipment you use. Itâs almost a buyers beware crossed with an infomercial, I didnât see it as a sales pitch!
Oh good!! I hope it was helpful. It's hard to talk about gear and NOT sound like a sales pitch. đ
Speaking of b-roll - that's Raleigh NC. 09:01 That's what's up! My current city!
You're going to like this weekend's video then! đ
What size is the pelican case that you use? That will work as a carry on
Hey guys, new subscriber here enjoying your videos! Iâm watching your gear vid and noticed you back the Benro Theta. I have as well. Have you guys gotten yours yet? I went all last summer hoping to use it, and now this summer is rapidly approaching. Just curious if you have gotten yours and have used it. And if so, what you think.
No unfortunately we havenât. We actually asked for a refund and have been ghosted. So unfortunate because it looks like a cool tripod!
@@chrisandsara Yeah, I asked for a shipping ETA and they said they expected mine to be in the ânext couple of shipmentsâ but declined to provide any kind of estimate. I decided to back this because Benro is an actual real company and not some 3 person start-up. So I figured they were just looking for some seed capital to get this thing going. Very frustrating!
Is there a link for the peak backpack that Sara uses?
Oh! Good eye! I missed that one in the description. Here you go: bhpho.to/3Juo7nh âș
Contrast was much better.
Thank you!!
