Love these Christmas list videos. Such a great idea to help grow the hobby!
Thanks so much for these lists. I got two games for my nephews from this list. Thank you especially to Clara and Ambie. Cheers guys.
Aw, thank you :)
Great review, seriously considering 7 Wonders Architects at the moment...and Calico.
Micro Macro... I'll look into that one.
I love Kim's enthusiasm! Thanks Kim👍
Chris - your picks make me want to meet your family!
It'd be good if you said how many players each game allows... families are different sizes so this would be really useful info
Love this series of videos!
Some great suggestions here! The only one I didn't like was calico. I found the patterns too similar and ultimately really frustrating. bummer!
Did Clara call kids "younglings"? Too soon haha
:D
I'd probably scratch Micro Macro off the list as some of the content isn't great for younger family members. 😅
Each parent has a different threshold for discussing things like death/murder, so it depends on the family.
Yeah i think they should have mentioned that it wouldn’t be appropriate for some young gamers as there’s pictures of crimes like murder and adultery. Obviously it’s still cartoony but still some scenarios are probably best left out of playing with certain family members
The cases with sensitive content are marked, so no bad surprises for your kids :)
Man Cascadia is getting props all over the place - have to give that one a try, appeals far more than Calico.
I just ordered it
@@TimothyWesdock lol now I’m panicking - need to order while it’s still about!
@@AhJong0 I ordered it off of Amazon but it looks like tons of other places still sell it. Get it while it's hot. Verdant looks fun too.
I am super interested in Micro Macro but I am concerned about the material for the huge picture. Is it just a piece of paper? I feel like it would be in tatters in no time, unless it's more sturdy.
It lasts fine as you lay it on the table and just look around the picture. Our copy in the Dice Tower library has been played a lot and is assuredly not in tatters.
@@DTChrisYi Thanks 😊. I have 5 young kids so sturdiness is a priority with family games. I think I'll put this on the Christmas list 👍
@@searose6192 One of the things to keep in mind is you may want to look into it a bit because there are a few topics that you may not feel uncomfortable le with for younger kids.
@@DTChrisYi Oh thanks. I will watch the full review. Definitely want to keep it G or PG.
I need more Randy and Ellen in my life.
Gamenerdz is out of stock in a lot of what I want :/
