These shots are great. Weee did you learn to use your camera so well? I’m asking because I’m trying to find online courses rather than CZcams tutorials to learn how to use my go pro 12. I’ve seen skillshare but wonder about the quality.
Awesome ! I like it. A lot of people don't like the GP-Log profile of the new Go Pro 12, what is your advice ? I really hesitate to choose between a Go Pro 12 and 11.
Log is fine, you just need to add sharpness to it and apply the correct LUT from Gopro Website or adjust it on your own in your editing app. In this video, i didnt add any sharpness to it that's why theyre too soft compare to standard. If you're upgrading from 10 or 9, gopro 12 is a good upgrade. if you're from 11, its not really a big difference other than the little things they added.
If you still have not got the GoPro or if someone is looking for the answer . Please do not buy a GoPro if you do not know the pain of owning a go pro,I know because I have the gopro11 since 1year . So here it is :
1. You cannot connect any mic into the type c,whereas DJI provides that ability.
2. If you want to connect there is no other option than proprietary GoPro mediamod or adapter.
3. Mounts , there is no magnetic mounts and believe me it is a hassle .
4. Connectivity issues with its GoPro mobile app,first or saves into app then again you have to save in phone.
5.Fastest way to operate on videos is through SD card adapter if your system support a port for one .
So yeah ,I just don't want anybody else to go through same, so taking the effort to write down all. And yeah it does heat a lot at 4k,60 ,120.

I have the same GoPro 12. Love the frame rate on your video, very smooth. But, what setting did you have on for video quality? Unfortunately on my end of CZcams as the viewer, it was blurry. Double checked on a different pc, same fuzzy/blurry. It’s not bad! Just know this little machine is more capable. Thank you for posting! You gave me ideas! 😎
for all blurry footage, that was all shot in GP LOG. I did not sharpen the footage at all and left it as it is.that time i was using the oldest gopro firsmware when it was first launched. i think they improved the gp log profile with their latest firmware update.
footages were shot with diff. frame rates. 60fps, 120fps. i was using the old LUT that came from gopro website but i believe they updated and improved that LUT since launch.

I think the video quality is not that good. I think you can take a better picture with the cell phone that everyone has. But it's an action cam, not a film camera, so it's ok.

I used the LUT from gopro to apply in gplog footages and edited in premiere pro.

LUT stands for "Look Up Table" and is a preset color setting that can be used to alter the colors and tone of an image or video
very good video but why is video quality blurry and looks like a toy camera?
Those are the shot with GP log profile. Unsharpened and flat. I didnt do a lot of sharpening in this video.
