This is so helpful. I'm making my second trip to Paris in ten days. When I was there before I felt like I did not know how to order in a cafe, so I ate in cafeterias or ate street food. I'm determined to conquer that fear this time!

I don't know how I ended here, I don't need to learn my own language 🤔
But anyway, you can say "eau plate" for flat water, which is exactly the same meaning as in english, and it's shorter than "eau pas gazeuse"

I'm visiting France in a week and am worried that the fact that I barely know any French is going to ruin my time there? Do you guys have any advice?

They said they're french and they can speak english because they're not retarded lol
But if you go to France, don't come in Paris, worst city ever. I don't know why foreign people admire it so much but I'd love to live anywhere but there, alas

If you are English or American, part of the game is to annoy the French as much a possible - so shout Garçon! as loud and as often as you can.

  • @tristanvadimterranova8053

As a native French speaker, here's my advice.
Don't you EVER act like the average American guy using shit like "comme ci comme ça".
No FUCKING ONE ever uses that !
So if you wanna visit Louis XIV when he's planning to make a second crusade, keep your way of speaking French.
But just in case you wanna act like an open minded one, may you be welcomed in the XXI century.
