Great cover of this song.
This is a great song and John put his own twist on to it. It is one of those song that is hard not to like.
Seems the eye shadow on John's eyelids is a bit heavy, but it did not weigh the song down and it was still an up lifting experience. 😂
A blast from the past for me. An Australian, had a hit with this when I was a child.
Since this concert was filmed for television, perhaps the makeup artists for theater thought it would help with the color optics for film. Who knows....
Right? 👍 From far away it isn't noticeable.. And who cares really when he sounds so great! Not the first time entertainers have used make up on stage/film.
