Today in Elden Ring I will be showing you where to farm the best early game armor sets locations, weapons and shield locations in the starting area of Limgrave at the start of the game. Some of these armor sets are perfect to get early after starting a new build in Elden Ring weather you are playing the hero class, bandit class, astrologer class, warrior class, prisoner class, confessor class, wrech class, vagabond class, profit class or samurai class! I hope you find this beginner armor and weapons location guide helpful!

+8 Silver Tear Mask: Dropped by the Mimic Tear Boss in Nokron, Eternal City.
+75 Silver Scarab Talisman: Found in chest on hidden path to the Haligtree; in the large central room you can drop off the edge where the railing is broken onto an invisible platform where you will find an illusionary wall that can be broken to reveal the chest.

Big tip: If you use a crossbow you can easily cheese the Tree Sentinel boss by standing on top of the church wall ,the Tree Sentinel knight just stands there as he is pure melee build will take alot of bolts but the reward is the Golden Halberd a excellent weapon you can use throughout the game.
I killed the Tree Sentinel at level 13 monk.....He was so easy.
@Split Dimension I'm level 118 now with a very OP character but as i said cheesing the tree sentinel this way is easy....The tree sentinel purpose there at the start is not practice for horseback fighting it's to avoid him and come back stronger then defeat him.
The confessor monk doesn't come with a wand so no magic casting at the start isn't a option but magic builds in Elden Ring in a open world game is a cheat code lol i just killed the Gargoyle with the black blade and axe using the same tactic cast rock sling run away and repeat.
For other builds not using magic the crossbow or finding the horned bow (which i did) early on makes the tree sentinel fight easy you don't even get in combat with him lol.
That Tree senitel is very easy with your horse so this is my recommendation for the tree senitel
:katanas :dismounter or bloodhound fang : lords man great sword : cheese him with dat bow
Aright this what I would not recommend for you,re purpose, :daggers : NOT any short weapon
not your fists : well I guess throwing pots pots so that's what I Would and we would Not use
For the tree senitel he's not too hard
Aright the dreconic tree senitel this is what I would really recommend : cheeseing him
Get the poison mist (incantation) need to do to do it hold your finger seal found in roundtable
Hold Aright that's done sneak behind him and star at him wall doing poison mist it'll take
About 5-15m minutes ok boom you killed him
If you're really struggling on him and don't want to cheese him, use the square off weapon art on the broadsword (costs 1800 runes from the beach merchant). It breaks his stance in 2 hits, which are really easy to get when he does his charged (dodge past him on the first, roll directly into him on the second side-hop).

If you didn't notice, Patches always sells you stuff at higher prices than other merchants. So the shield he sells obviously doesn't add to your horse speed cause he is just haggling you in game.
That's why I had to take him out.. I found out that he was trying to scam. He gone.

So I not sure if this was added in a recent patch or not but if you feel a little heartless you can kill the unarmed aristocrats and they have a chance to drop the altered aristocrat set. I only managed to locate the chest piece last night
I used the Aristocrat's Cowl with the Page chestpiece and Foot Soldier Gauntlets and Greaves for some early-game Landsknecht drip to do with my Zweihänder. I plan on replacing the chest and pants with the Eccentric's Set later on, but I can't do that until after Radahn.

These are making me want to do some collecting for a mage character, trying to keep light, not easy. The pure mage armors just don't seem at-all good until you get all the way to the point of being able to get the snow witch set.

The dagger with a quick step ash of war (any kind) is a shame BUT a dagger that can parry while being a battle mage has saves my Ass many times😂
Au contraire, ESO, my samurai loves his glintstone staff. I had to boost my Int to 10 to use it with the glintstone pebble, but it really is the best way to farm for arrow making supplies. (My range attack is the longbow with mighty shot, but it uses so many arrows, I need to farm thin beast bones and feathers. With a small investment, I can farm on the way to other things.) Being able to get it just south of the Waypoint ruins behind the building and buy the spell from Sellen makes this an easy way to improve your archery life. As Int is not a priority, you never have to improve it, which makes improving dex and vigor your focus. So if you're going for using a bow or crossbow for your ranged attacks, getting a glintstone staff with the pebble spell is just excellent.

can you make a guid on the cleanrot armour that you can get from killing cleanrot knights , it's one of the best armours you can get as early as lvl 1 but it's very heavy

Great video , but you can't the silver scarab early....can you? Is there a way to get to hidden path to haligtree without getting to mountain top of giants or am I mistaken? It's not a place you can just ride to or is it??
I Love the sprinting attack on dual short swords
That's a frozen Raisin, as in dried grape, not resin, as in the sap of a tree or other polymer of a plant that can be turned into a plastic
ESO i use the Meteoric Ore Katana to take these Kaden guys down , the katana is a level 6 weapon basically does a 1 hit kill on anything in this area...Upgrading your weapons is so important in this game and you become very powerful.
I've been farming the boulder for exp now level 90 already have the spell Meteor Azur going to melt bosses lol.
Have you tried the two handed attack w the horse head shield ?

I’ll tell you something, don’t worry if you kill the guy who sells margit’s shackle, he’ll drop his bell bearing, if you don’t know what that is, it’s just a thing that permits you to get the shop if you kill a merchant, you’ll give that to some sisters I think?They are in the round table hold

The drop rate is super low. I've been killing Kaiden warrior for hours and haven't gotten everything yet.
A trick I discovered just tonight. I was trying to get the cleanrot complete armor set from shaded castle and I must have killed the two near the boss room 35 times and no chest armor drop and no halo scythe. The trick is to equip and unequip then equip the silver tear mask three times, then go kill them. Got the chest piece and two halo scythes within 2 tries. I imagine it works on anything in the game you're trying to farm for.

Someone else in this thread commented that if you kill Patches, he drops a ball bearing that can be given to the Crone Sisters in the Roundtable area that will have them take on the things that were in his selling inventory, so you can still acquire them.

Game is decent but after first playthrough the time it takes second time is a joke usually 🤣 Game is rough as hell and open world is great addon to souls but its a bit lacking. Still prefer Monster Hunter series but it's fun playing with builds
