A CHUCK E CHEESE BIRTHDAY PARTY IN 2023...WHAT IS IT LIKE? WHAT HAS CHANGED?

- For the past 2 years, my son had his birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. This year he wanted something different, but a friend had her son's birthday party here and she allowed me to film. I believe most, if not all, of the Chuck E Cheese locations across the country have been remodeled and there are some slight differences to the parties which I show and discuss at the end of the video. All in all, I still think a Chuck E Cheese birthday party is a great value. All the kids love it, it's easy and there is no clean-up.
The location is in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Brings back lots of memories..it has been 11 years the last time I took my son to chuck n cheese. My son had great memories being a young kid going there with his grandparents..
My son loves it. We had 2 of his parties there.
I used to go to Chuck E. Cheese it was the best place and the pizza
And the FOOTBALL/SOCCER It WAS very fun 10/10 rating
I work at CEC so I know exactly what it’s like to have at least 5 parties at 1 time, if not more. Most of the time after the Bday Star show is over, the kids sometimes eat cake, and they go back to the Gameroom. Many stores across the USA do still have the animatronics but the company plans to remodel every store by 2026, unless they’re a franchise store. And yes, it does get frustrating when it’s 5 or more parties at 1 time, especially when it’s on a weekend and when kids are crowding Chuck E and you can hardly see him cuz of how much people are there. Looks like you and Ryder had a great time though. Also they do still do the party favor bags but only for like the bigger party packages.
This is great information. Even with the 5 parties, I thought it was manageable. We never waited long for a game and even then it was only for the most popular. I thought they managed having Chuck E meet the birthday kids really well. Removing the animatronics definitely opened the space a lot more. I think the point is, kids won’t notice the small changes. All they want is pizza, cake and to play games.
@@ShannonFord It really did open up more space. For me as someone who works for the company, I really do like the remodel. I do miss the bots very much, but this will be the future for CEC for now. Plus sometimes the kids do crowd Chuck E, like as in bombarding him with hugs and stuff while he’s trying to do his show. There’s 1 video on YT around where it shows Chuck E coming out and like 5 seconds later or so, there were like, I think 15 kids crowding him at the same time and he couldn’t get through.

This is so cute and I love seeing the kids all happy. I remember this when I was a child.
I remember going to chuck e cheese during its avenger era in the early 2000s and I gotta say it's much different than today, I remember seeing munchie's make believe band as animatronics, chuck Taking pictures with kids during their birthday, decent pizza and gold coins but now it just hits different especially with how companies manage chuck e cheese its modern and well for the better

Some of these were born as ShowBiz Pizza Places, a brand name that lasted from 1980 to 1992; ShowBiz restaurants were mostly located from the East Coast through the midwestern U.S., but some also existed here in the West Coast, both in California and in Washington State.
This location at 8515 Pines Blvd. opened as a Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza store in 1991, during the Concept Unification run that saw all traces of the former ShowBiz Pizza Place restaurants (in those states that had them) be revamped and rebranded to Chuck E. Cheese's.
Wow! So much has changed. It's crazy how the animatronics are gone. I'm 20 and too old to go now, but Chuck E. Cheese was my childhood. 😂
While I miss the Animatronics, it did open the space a lot. And the kids like what's there now.
You will go back when you have kids. Trust me!

I hope people tip the party hosts well, they do the same job as a restaurant waitres.
We were told several times that tip was not included, which implied that we needed to tip. I hope most people get it
I think they do a lot more than a restaurant server. I just had my daughters chuck e cheese party yesterday with 10 party guests and 10 plus parents. She did an excellent job. We left her $50.

in 2002 I went to my 25th birthday party at chuck e cheese to celebrate my birthday & 2 years ago i went to my nephew's birthday party to celebrate his birthday he'll be 5 years old next year his name is chase my niece's son 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈
Looked like a incredibly good time, I miss the Robots from when I was a kid but besides that it looks like a massive upgrade... Pizza looks way better too :)
Having experienced parties before and after the animatronics, I will say kids are happier now.
It looks nice today! It looks cleaner than it was in the 90s. That’s the last time I was there.
Goodie bag is still an option in my area, its the more pricey option. We are having my daughter's party this Saturday.

Looking at your video, and remembering goign to CHuck with my nieces about 6 years ago- the interiors of the restaurants or very bland, compared to what I remember as a child from 30 years ago. The same things stick out- bland interior, drop acoustical ceiling...also, it seems like the place ha only about 1/3 of the games. Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but it seemed like Check used to have an interior that evokes warmth / gold / red colors and feeling in the interior, lots of lights and sounds...now it looks like a converted office space :(

I work at my Chuck-E-Cheese location and I'm the person that plays Chuck-E-Cheese there and usually when i come out everybody surrounds me the one thing I don't like when people don't give me a room to do my dance especially during birthday parties I sometimes some of the kids are rude and hiting Chuck E so it is awful when it gets crowded I love doing it but when it gets crowded that's when is bad
Oh I can totally see that. We went to a birthday party there yesterday and the families there were great. They controlled their kids to give each birthday kid their chance to be with Chuck E and no one crowded him. But at my son's party in 2021, parents were NOT as respectful.

Sorry, unfortunately my son didn't have his party there and we haven't been to a party there this year. But my understanding is, not much has changed.
I remember as a kid we were invited to a kids party twice. The parents paid per child (includes two tiny slices of pizza per kid) and the parents and adults had to buy their own pizza. We just booked a party for our two kids, ordered extra pizza for kids and made sure we paid for pizzas for the adults! That is just stupid to invite an only pay for kids.
That’s what we did. We even bought pizza for any siblings but didn’t pay for their game cards.
Do they get game card included with the party package for kids?

I watched your other Chuck E. Cheese party videos. Just had my daughter’s 4th birthday there last weekend. No remodel at our location. We also didn’t get the hats. And Chuck e didn’t come to our table. 😩

No, that is way too young. I think 4 is the youngest age I would do a party there
Thinking of celebrating my daughter’s 2nd bday there, do u think it would be worth it? Is there enough entertainment for a two year old? Also can u buy a whole pizza for parents to eat? Is the seating just for kids, im worried bcuz ill have more adults than kids lol😅😅
I think the minimum is 10 kids. No the seating is for whomever. If you don’t have a lot of kids, there will be plenty of room for adults.
Depending on the location, there are toddler games. Will a 2 year old get the same experience? No, but it will still be fun and easy. Maybe do one of the lesser packages. And yes, you can order a pizza or other food for the adults. That’s what we did.
