    have you tried putting 2 fans ? one pushing air in and the other one pushing air out? rather than just pushing air in?
    if so did the cooling improve by having two fans?

      That's why he kept it below 300 ghash. Only above that do you need to start using the mosfet heat sinks.

    290 gh asic fan in front (4.000-5.000rpm) has only normal one on top but is not very efective, the sides are off
    Temp max 35C on chips outside like 15C.

    THM do you know who actually made the OC firmware Tswift has been selling? I would truly feel better knowing who actually did all the coding, also if you want to max out the your Kaspa miner the only firmware that allows you to do so is the PBFarmer firmware, and i like that the actual developer is a member of our discord and the Kaspa discord.

    • @TheHobbyistMiner

    • @TheHobbyistMiner
      @TheHobbyistMiner  Před 4 měsíci

      Won't be stable as it wants to draw more power. Don't recommend OC if you can't purchase the support Power Adapter and Cooling. Asking for problems.

    @dimitrikatsaros9212 Před 4 měsíci

    The really shocking thing is when you calculate mining profits after dev fee, electrical costs (my rate is 14 cents YMMV) of the miner AND the miniscule electrical costs of the added fan(s) -- 8W per fan -- the time to breakeven after the cost of all that extra stuff (incl. shipping and taxes) is shortest when you take all that stuff off and just overclock with the firmware. Add-ons are fun, but you have to decide how much that fun is worth it to you. Especially with the added noise.
