Austin used to have a deli open 24/7 on east sixth, they closed probably 20 years ago. Old Austin was way better than what it is today. This is California Austin

I get exactly what Robert means. I was born and raised in Sydney and moved to Adelaide here in Australia. Sydney is the same as NY where you can go out after 8pm and still go shopping, do a grocery run or go eat on any day of the week. I can't do the same thing in Adelaide. It feels like your being constrained for no reason. You can't even get an Uber/cab in Adelaide at 4/5am on a weekday to get to the airport. It's so fkn primitive. No matter what time it is there's always a cab/uber in Sydney you can call via their app.
These two seem like great people. Gotta check the podcast out…. Man Austin is where it’s at!

The Jim & Sam show is just sad. Jimmy basically admitted that he stayed on Sirius for the money and it shows. Otherwise he’d obviously join Anthony.
Hard to figure out. A guy that makes his living talking took the largest amount of money to continue talking.
He should make 75% less working for Ant just for the artistic fulfillment.

That’s not correct. Texas native here. It’s about 5 and a half hours to Brownsville which is the farthest south you can go before you cross the border.
Oopsie, I was thinking of the time I drove from Dallas to El Paso, took 11 hours in a UHaul. 5th Generation Texan here, 4th born in Dallas. Still not as close as non Texans seem to think it is. Soooooo, yeah.

The people of Austin must be sick of all these people moving there and changing the whole dynamic.
My wife and I moved out of Austin to Colorado during the pandemic. Loved it for 30 years but had to get the heck out of Texas. Not the same city I grew up with in the early 90s.

@@southphillylillyBrutal hot weather, lack of seasom change, and terrible traffic with a limited freeway infra. Lived their for two years and those were my biggest issues coming from the upper midwest. Food was great though.
Finally some honest Austin reviews. Never been but that city must have a great PR firm.

They both seem nice and all, but yeah they can BARELY come up with something that even resembles entertaining to talk about. The episodes I've checked out they basically get carried by the producers, told when to switch bits, and they just barely hit the 40 min mark on each episode.
