Yeah this was a terrible set... actually an ok set but normally he’s 100% better. Even some of these same jokes were delivered better before...
The Tonight Show probably made him water things down a bit. You could kinda tell he wasn’t really into it. Maybe nervous too. Idk. But I agree this definitely was not the Normand we all know and love

Nate Davies A lot of them wear the same thing for when they do multiple shows at the same venue. If filmed, when they edit multiple nights together it looks like it’s the same show. If you look closely the audience/front row will be different from shot to shot.

Aquarium jokes really show how good he can relate things. He seems to be a guy that really trains on his speech for being too fast on talking. I think its funny the idea that he isnt that natural on his performances. He indeed seems to be introvert. Glad he make it to comedy pretty well. I feel just like the same.
Hugo Rezende he talks about this a lot on his podcast or when he was on JRE for the first time they go deep into their performances
