Cleveland is definitely the most normal character in the lot.
The reason for the memory thing was because of cleveland's voice actor (mike henry) stepped down around the 19th season.

The voice actor stepped down from the Cleveland role, he didn't quit but it was because he believes persons of color should play characters of color, he doesn't think it's right so when he saw Jenny slate and Kristen bell step down for this reason he decided followed suite. He's still voicing Herbert and several others though so he still has a presence and job with them
What is funny is a lot of people are being salty about it even though it was Mike Henry's decision.

Cleveland, Quagmire, Joe. As much as Brian does crack me up the episodes where Quagmire and him feud are HILARIOUS. When Quagmire finally told Brian why he doesn't like him I laughed so hard at his rant.
Quagmire is just as bad as Brian though :/ maybe even worse. Like he’s one to be talking. Everything he says about Brian I can probably find like 3-5 examples of instances where Quagmire does the same thing for each item on his list of why Brian sucks. Not that Brian doesn’t suck, but Quagmire isn’t such a saint that he has the right to point those things out.
The "Brian" rant was a dig at Seth McFarland himself, that's the character closest to his personality.

Cleveland spun off onto his own show for about 4 years and now he has moved back.

Cleveland is mostly likeable because he has a funny voice, has funny moments that come out of the blue, and is usually the voice of reason (if there is any) among the guys.

While I do think switching his VA wasn't necessary and only feeds into the whole identity politics hysteria, I do give a lot of credit to the new VA who took over as he sounds almost _exactly_ like the old Cleveland. If you're gunna go through with something like that, at least they didn't butcher the character.
They should have switched him out without telling anybody just to prove a point.

I'd say the reason The Cleveland Brown Show closed was because it not only lacked in creativity but it also failed to show off even the Griffins.

Why is Cleveland in a whole other area where his own house suits his wife and kids in? I mean, remember the house that always gets blown up? is constantly only ever shows 1 upper floor and the base.
It's been clear a lot of times that his house is only 1 bedroom given, so its hard to tell just how Cleveland found his own second home, wife and kids.
"Loretta", she is like the 1 person I almost never seen in family guy almost ever, I have only seen her I think mainly in the 1 black scene of "He don't listen to you".
Another thing is, their neighborhood doesn't resemble anything like Joes house location all the way to Quagmires, so why it the Griffins are not nearby somehow in any area, is a miss needed filling of an answer.
The biggest piece of the pie is, WHY, get Cleveland his own show? What could you mean "his own show" he's seen like 98% of the time on almost every last family guy episode and the show wasn't supposed to be based on Peter Griffin all the time, almost all the other family characters got their share of episodes for themselves, Cleveland getting his own show is irrelevant, he's on most of every last family guy episode, how is that not a Quagmire's own show, a Joe's own show?
