- I've had my pee valve for around 3 years now and it's been the BEST money I've ever spent. The absolute convenience of being able to go whenever I like has been and is still, an absolute joy!! 😍😍
No ending dives early or dancing around the boat trying to get out of my suit before I pee myself and safe in the knowledge that I can drink as I please without having to worry. If you get one, you'll never look back and everyone will be jealous of your peeing prowess!
However, most problems occur with the interface between the pee valve and the human. In this video I explain the common options available and take a deeper look into the problems with peeing through a drysuit.

Hey Jurassic...Erm, Nope. I just can't bring myself to do it! I'm going to be geriatric at some point and needless to say I'll be in the things then, but I'm not hastening the process!! My mother was a district nurse before she retired and she used to have adult nappies knocking around...they're just kinda sad and I just can't :D
Andy, you never mentioned this portion of Drysuit Kit, that arguably could become pretty important. This video was funnier than S****! However, I don't think a "STICKY Condom" sounds like very much fun!
You just have to make sure everything is well shaved pal...and even then, it's not fun!

It's marked as over 18 only and it's a valid subject and hopefully educational for divers who are considering getting a system. I've seen much worse on the platform, but I guess we'll see. Be a shame if they did though as there is very little else out there explaining some of the issues you might encounter if you start using a pee valve system.

Hi . I’m new to U.K. diving and about to get a dry suit. How do these work with undersuits ?
You just poke a hole through your under suit for the pipe to pass through. I had mine done properly and all stitched up nicely. To be fair, if you’re just starting out, then this is WAAAAAAYY down the list of kit you want to be thinking about for the moment. Unless you’re buying a brand new dry suit, then if a pee valve is an option, deffo have one fitted 👍
How are you supposed to measure for the sizing? When “limp” or “hard”?
If diving gets you that excited pal, then you go for the boner! 😂 in all seriousness though, you measure limp. All of the sheath manufacturers have downloadable measuring guides you print off, cut out and then stick the little fella through to measure your relaxed girth. Check one of the linked sites to have a look at one. 👍
thank you, very informative. One question if you have one big day with multiple dives. Do you change in-between or keep using for the day ?
Hey pal. Thanks for the question. It’s deffo a one a day process. Pop it on in the morning and take it off after the diving is done. Wash, clean and pamper ready for the next day. Any signs of irritation or inflammation, then don’t bother again until things have calmed down 👍

How do you work a BC crotch strap into the equation? Just off to the side? Hello from the US!
Hello to the US! Yeah, that’s pretty much it 👍. Obvs you don’t want the crotch strap pinching the condom part as that will cause a blockage, so need to make sure that’s clear.

@@UKDiver i'm guessing it was wetsuit ! I remember forgetting to pack my wetsuit one day - and i ended up wearing a ladies suit which was smaller than mine - i'll just say the only safe way to walk was to do a penguin bounce down to the Grasmere shoreline - will never forget that embarrasing dive. lol

@@UKDiver it was 'challenging' getting in - but no way was i missing out on a dive! I was definately slimmer in that suit. My Dive bud that day was in stiches, but i could not believe she had carried a spare suit with her - who does that ??
@@UKDiver Regular Viking dry suit one planned their tea drinking so to speak. You made sure bladder was empty and dives were generally shorter then no dive computers, 12 L tanks being the max etc.
