- Does Tesla have Inventory Problems. The roughly 400 Tesla EVs that were sitting in the parking lot of a shuttered mall outside Saint Louis, Missouri might have been just the tip of the inventory iceberg, as more and more cars are being spotted by savvy internet users.

If the cars are new, they were ordered, so they are to be delivered. If the cars are used, most likely is lease ends that Tesla is collecting since they had plans to do the robotaxi with them, not sure if that is still happening.
I just wrote a comment saying basically the same thing although yours explains it better in a much shorter sentence. I only saw yours after.
@@synthmaker I would like that to be true. But it is widely reported that Tesla made 46K cars it did not sell in Q1 2024. I could be wrong but that does not sound like a accounting error due to delivery. At the same time it is something Tesla will handle.
Really depends on how many EV Tesla makes at the end of a production run.
Not enough drivers for deliverys its a big problem
That cant be Germany, total Different number Plates
Also not European semi trucks (those would be cab-over)
my MYAWD was promised between May-June now it says July 14th - August 28th :( big sad
Could it be that the same way when you lease a car from Tesla you don't get the option to keep it at the end because Tesla wants to have enough autonomous cars available for when they setup the RoboTaxi fleet app, maybe they're not too bothered selling them quickly now that the RoboTaxi software will be unveiled on the 8th of August. The profit from keeping a Tesla running as a RoboTaxi is many multiples the profit of selling it and is recurring, wouldn't it make sense to start holding them now?
