Great instructional video Jessica. You get 10 stars from me :-) I put about an inch and 1/2 of beach sand in the bottom, then place small votive candle (from Pier One) in center. This way the wax doesn't stick to the glass. You can also use a tea light candle and place that down in the sand, also, we have thrown a few glass marbles on the sand which provides further illumination and color. Endless possibilities.

I buy a lot of fruit jams during the Summer month at the Farmer's Markets than I end up with a lot of mason jars. They nice but I don't really know what to do with them. Since I also do a lot of traveling and camping this is prefect. Love the idea and it's simple & easy. Thanks

i plan to use these for my new barn when its built instead of using any electrical source that could cause a fire. this is a great idea!

Very crafty idea.. I like the idea of using copper wire, easy to work with and better looking than the craft store floral wire.. Thanks

Great idea using copper wire Jessica!! And, awesome tutorial!! You were very informative and you you got STRAIGHT to the point, which I LOVE!!! Lol!! I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but I can NOT stand it when women or even men make a tut video and talk about everything else besides the project at hand!! Lol!! So, in closing I just had to let you know how awesome you did!!! (And this is my very first time commenting on youtube) Thanks so much -- Jess R.

Nope, was trying to find instructions for my wife for an event tonight. We frosted the jars earlier this week with Elmers Glue / Food grade beige dye. Found some color shifting LED flameless candles at Menards.

I love it! I think it'd be really cute if you put pebbles in it about halfway, then place your candle in the middle! That's what I'm going to do! :)

I absolutely agree, Amber! I made some that went on the wedding tables and put some teal and frosted vase gems in the bottom and tied a tulle bow around them. They were gorgeous!

Do you mind me asking where you bought your candles from? i can't find any of those small thick ones anywhere!

Abbey Haigh Of course not! I used these flameless LED candles from Amazon: amzn.to/1bsddcc but if you want real candles these look similar: amzn.to/1lCfXL9. You might also try Garden Ridge if you have one near you!
