You could take a cab that isn’t real nice take all the interior out of it and make the tractor a 4 post with a canopy. We have a factory 4 post canopy 4440 I can’t say that I’ve never not been comfortable under it there’s always a breeze.
Back in the mid 1990's my uncles went from the upright silos to ag bags as well. The silos and unloaders were old and in need of repair and it just isn't worth it to repair them or replace with new.
If you ask me spending 15 on a cab is still worth it! The tractor is still worth 30 plus! Replacement value now a days for the same hp is also way more and theyre less reliable!
Check with eikenberg salvage in aplington iowa or Worthington salvage first one should have one we got one for 2500 couple years ago i no prices are up were in iowa are you from we live in Plainfield watch all your videos
what size tractor do you need parts from? I work in waverly and we just had the trans go out on a 4640 or 4840 something like that I'll get specifics tomarrow and find out what the boss is going to do with it. Construction BTW not farming
@@iowadairyboysFarms it's a 4650 that we have but there going to try to fix it. We use them to pull packer wheels and offset disc. Sorry if I got your hopes up. if things go south with the fix I'll let you know. not sure the trans style it might be power shift ??? been a long time sence I've been in it
Those Up North bags are never the right size. One time we had a bag that was supposed to be a 250 ended up it was around 280 .next time I'll be too short.
Excellent filming and editing. I like the many different camera angles and especially enjoy the drone footage Thanks for sharing 🚜🚜 🚜 🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🚜 🚜🚜

Enjoy the video on the Corn Silage .
Have you guys ever thought of making a pile instead of a bag on that concrete??
Don't worth it for the small amount we make
Nice corn, here we start about okt 1
Will you need to expand the cement slab for bags?

Why don’t you set up your 4440 as a rops tractor
You can put a 3 row head on that chopper

Yup
Any thought of doing an open station 4440 in the rebuild?
Would need to find one to put on
$15,000 for a Sound Gard Body?Ridiculous.Your talking about 40-45 year old tractor. What a impact 76 less bushels per acre will have.
