The same Sun in Capricorn for me and I actually feel this fear of criticism everytime I have to get projected at work/ presenting infront of co-workers. For one day I prefer to stay back instead of going ahead and start thinking about what's going on and the very next day I realise n I'll be ready to do what I'm supposed to do. In sidereal my Sun is in Capricorn and Saturn, one of my dominant planets, sits in Aquarius and I am that person who thrives to do public orderly things (with a weird Aquarian/Uranian twist) and trying to avoid criticism like plague but when the criticism hits my first reaction is being emotionally brutally wounded and after that announcing that "This is who I am. This is how I do things and I will always try to be true to myself and improve!". And then the rest of my life remembering the criticism and adding it to my list of be-aware-of-this-horrible-outcome 😅
I always felt like a Capricorn, the moment I looked into western astrology and found out I was an Aquarius sun, I was confused. Although I do relate to being an aqua to some degree, when I found out about Vedic astrology and I found out I was a Capricorn sun, it all made sense ahaha! Now I get it.

Thank you, Kapiel. This video explains SOOOOOOO much for me! I have my Saturn in Cancer, and I directly experience this paralyzing fear with institutional structures. I'm always concerned about my loss of choice and freedom in my life if I don't present the proper documentation or follow the process to the letter. The irony is that it's my personality to detest and challenge the authority these agencies claim. So I find myself eventually having to face my fears and address the issues of personal sovereignty versus institutional/government mandate. This has been a frustratingly repetitive cycle. I really appreciate your insight on this issue.
Wow.. I just understood my wives Vedic sign. Thank you. She is most easy going person I found but then she was puzzled through out life. She got psoriasis because of her constant stress and fear. She gets anxious in a second. I usually thought it's her July born cancerian nature, but I guess I can relate now. She can't lie properly can't cheat people and has trouble doing wrong things. She feels scared but she learnt to stay wit fear and yet think practical.
Her suggestions are so practical and smart yet she just wants to stay house wife.

I experience a lot of this - my sun, Neptune and Venus are in Capricorn, my moon is cancer, my Saturn is in Aries. My sun, moon and Saturn are all in conjunction. My ascendant is Taurus. Yes,, this is true (fear part). I have a Capricorn sun (0. degrees) in the 5th house. I am extremely confident in life like a Leo but I have deep seated fears, phobias that border on ocd since a child. However, most I have outgrown with the exception of 2. This is spot on.

Wow my D60 chart ruler is sun. In the D60 chart my sun is in 6th house Capricorn. I literally manage a teamsters union with high ideals of fairness and balance. I am a female managing males also. My father taught me my strong work ethic. I respect he and my mother more than anyone in this world. Spot on 🎯
Ok, so a few things I noted -
1. I have vedic Capricorn sun but western Aquarius sun. Also, I have vedic Aquarius ascendant. I relate more to Capricorn sun generally.
2. Sun is in 12th house in the sign of Capricorn, and its lord Saturn is in 4th house in the sign of Taurus. So we could say Saturn is in his friend's place, but Saturn is also there in the same sign with Rahu so... yeah 😳
3. I have trouble coming out to the public because I am very shy and introverted. I just prefer to do my own work quietly and perfectly and avoid getting in front of an audience.
4. Criticism is also one aspect which I find quite difficult to handle. Its that I cannot handle it when someone criticises me even if its for my own good. My emotions go haywire and I start to blame myself thinking "how could you let this happen", "everything was perfect, where did I go wrong?!". It is what stops me from publishing my drafts of mystery-thriller writings as I am scared of receiving the criticism 😔
5. My father wasn't the disciplinarian type, but my mother loves to play the drill sergeant in the house (strangely she is born in Uttar Phalguni i.e. Surya's Nakshatra and has Virgo ascendant). She was always organizing me, pitting me towards a set goal, being strict and keenly oriented to detail and hard work. And she loves to criticize me all the time, so it's very difficult to impress her.
6. I was also dreadfully fearful of the law. In school, I was the quiet, rule-abiding kid and teachers usually called me a good student. But this one day, I wasn't paying attention as I was stressed due to my parents' financial problems at home, so the teacher was angry and made me stand outside the class. Other students also behaved as if they were shocked and couldn't believe that someone like me could do this. Again, my emotions went gaga over criticism and embarrassment, almost to the point that I had a panic attack, like I break one law and something so drastic happens! Incidents like these happened many a times in my life.

Hi Kapil, If sun is in Caprisorn(Dhanishta) and saturn in Leo(magha). Is that a parivarthana. WIll this parivarthana is beneficial or not.
Check also if your Saturn in Capricorn is aspected to Mars in Ares, it will have the same issue of ups and downs or falls apart. So be able to keep an eye out on that.
Wow! You are right, I am aspiring for govt. job and my father is already part of administration in govt. In my natal chart Sun is in 7th house in Capricorn, Ketu is in Aries sign is in 10th house and Saturn is in 8th house.

It's true.cap sun,Aries Saturn. I perform well and then suddenly I become face of the team/class.Afterthat everything ll start fall apart ,I need put extra 300% effort for getting done my 70-80% work to retain my reputation.I felt that everytime.If Im getting praised for something,I can't be happy ,my head already tells me to prepare for the worst that ll b following.

I have Sun in Capricorn with Saturn in Aries. However, Saturn is digbala in 7th house with Neechbhanga formed by Mars in Libra and Venus in Aquarius. I tend to find more and more that I am my own worst critic, and even if I do get criticized, I have to reanalyze the situation as I'm not seeing things clearly as my fear/anxiety gets in the way. I tend to be able to deal with it better over time. A lot of it is changing my perspective and taking charge of my life instead of constantly living in a fear-based mindset.
my bf is sun in cap and he's never nervous if anything he's over confident with a huge ego. he's has a strong forceful personality, almost like leo or aries. I like that cause I have a moon in libra. lol

You're using western astrology chart as I can see. In Vedic astrology you sun might be in sagittarius.
