This is the first Virgo Rising reading that I have heard that isn't focused on how critical and anal and obsessed with attention to detail we are. I always think of Adrian Monk as having VR. Anyway thank you so much for going house by house, what a refreshing way to do the rising sign. I was forced to babysit other people's kids all the time by my parents when I was a young teenager. I love kids but I did not like being forced to take care of them. I never had kids, I think because it would have felt too much like a duty. But I inherited two dogs (who I love) but it is the same. @@kpoprak I think they're using the whole sign system, meaning the first house is the entire sign of your Ascendant, and then it just goes in the order of the signs. If your Ascendant is, say in Taurus, then the 2nd house Gemini, 3rd house Cancer, 4th Leo, and so on.

I was critical of my birth time records, because I was getting pisces sun, Leo rising and it was simply not clicking with me. I messed around with the time, added 30 minutes and got Virgo rising and it fits me perfectly. I'm vegan since 12, cardio and yoga everyday to not gain weight in quarantine. Also every health craze there was, I tried (for better and for worse).

What you must understand, however, is that the constellations are (and have been since conception) completely arbitrary. Ancient astrologers noticed patterns that occurred during certain times of the year and correlated these patterns with the positions of the constellations. This was done purely for reference! The sign Leo for example was drawn out on the night sky by the ancients because they noticed that people born during that time of the year (in the middle to end of summer) exhibited certain patterns of traits. Thus, it is the cycle of the seasons and change on the earth that dictates the patterns we see each sign having, (which is much more consistent with hermetic teachings). It is not the stars themselves moving into arbitrary signs that determine at which point in the cycle someone will be born, it is the period in time that matters. We could draw out a different "leo" (regal, leader, passionate) symbol in the night sky where cancer used to be and "readjust" the constellations if we liked. The lion is just a placeholder that helped ancient people figure out what time of the year it was. The principal of "rhythm" taught by Hermes trismegistus correlates periods of change on the earth with certain traits in humans. It actually has little to do with the stars themselves.
Due to the fact that the ancients who lived by the tropical zodiac designed it within the northern hemisphere, I would argue that it would need to be reversed completely for the southern hemisphere. They had no reason to plan this out in the past prior to globalization. A new system would also need to be designed for the equator. Nonetheless, I stand by the fact that the seasonal changes are integral to determining at which part of the "cycle" we are in. The perfect zodiac system would take into account everything about the stars, seasons, and other cyclical phenomena we can observe. (As above, so below. As below, so above!) I'm not sure if such a thing exists, but I would think it to be the most accurate if it does. The only issue would be determining which cycles would be weighed greater in magnitude.

I have Virgo ascendant and my sun is in Sagittarius. I love being social but would rather have a small group of very close friends than many. I suppose you could say that about all of them but when it comes down to all generalizations, not all Virgo ascendants are going to fit every single description. I would imagine I am more impulsive than many other ascendant Virgos because fire is dominate in my chart (Im also HORRIBLE at writing but seem to do great in communicating with others. Thought id throw that out there). Since Capricorn is an earth sign, you most likely fit these descriptions better than someone like me with so much fire. Perhaps with characteristics like being more reserved or organized? Either way it could still depend on your entire chart and not JUST your sun sign.

The fact that you say you are TOTALLY not religious, in a manner of speaking, means you have very strong opinions about religious ideas, even if it's against it. Some of this describes me especially the part about weight obsession but I assume all women were like that. lol. I'm also very messy so the being tidy part isn't something I can relate to. Actually, that's incorrect. Yes, there has been a shift in the positions of the constellations over thousands of years. What you must understand, however, is that the constellations are (and have been since conception) completely arbitrary. Ancient astrologers noticed patterns that occurred during certain times of the year and correlated these patterns with the positions of the constellations. This was done purely for reference! The sign Leo for example was drawn out on the night sky by the ancients because they noticed that people born during that time of the year (in the middle to end of summer) exhibited certain patterns of traits. Thus, it is the cycle of the seasons and change on the earth that dictates the patterns we see each sign having, (which is much more consistent with hermetic teachings). It is not the stars themselves moving into arbitrary signs that determine at which point in the cycle someone will be born, it is the period in time that matters. We could draw out a different "leo" (regal, leader, passionate) symbol in the night sky where cancer used to be and "readjust" the constellations if we liked. The lion is just a placeholder that helped ancient people figure out what time of the year it was. The principal of "rhythm" taught by Hermes trismegistus correlates periods of change on the earth with certain traits in humans. It actually has little to do with the stars themselves.
Due to the fact that the ancients who lived by the tropical zodiac designed it within the northern hemisphere, I would argue that it would need to be reversed completely for the southern hemisphere. They had no reason to plan this out in the past prior to globalization. A new system would also need to be designed for the equator. Nonetheless, I stand by the fact that the seasonal changes are integral to determining at which part of the "cycle" we are in. The perfect zodiac system would take into account everything about the stars, seasons, and other cyclical phenomena we can observe. (As above, so below. As below, so above!) I'm not sure if such a thing exists, but I would think it to be the most accurate if it does. The only issue would be determining which cycles would be weighed greater in magnitude.

I have Virgo ascendant and my sun is in Sagittarius. I love being social but would rather have a small group of very close friends than many. I suppose you could say that about all of them but when it comes down to all generalizations, not all Virgo ascendants are going to fit every single description. I would imagine I am more impulsive than many other ascendant Virgos because fire is dominate in my chart (Im also HORRIBLE at writing but seem to do great in communicating with others. Thought id throw that out there). Since Capricorn is an earth sign, you most likely fit these descriptions better than someone like me with so much fire. Perhaps with characteristics like being more reserved or organized? Either way it could still depend on your entire chart and not JUST your sun sign.

Unfortunately I have much Saturn in my horoscope and a stellium in the 6 th, as well as Saturn in 10 th with ketu (nice) so my career (as a financial writer) has been a hell of an uphill slog. I think you may be taking what he says completely at face value. He isn't talking about religion. He is talking about spirituality. The fact that you say you are TOTALLY not religious, in a manner of speaking, means you have very strong opinions about religious ideas, even if it's against it. He also brought up in the 9th house about marrying into a different religion (AND note culture. So spirituality here again may not involve religion but a way of life.) Which you can take as literally marrying a religion or belief instead of someone from it. So basically, whatever religious belief you grew up surrounded with, you REJECT it. ha ha i am a virgo ascendant and honestly i am not very much like how it is described. I mean yes, there are things like for example, i can explain my feelings way more in writting than i could ever possibly do with just speaking them out loudly. Honestly, i do like having things clean and what not but i am not like OMG it can't get messy or OMG its not how i left it and etc. I think it has to do with your other aspects of the horoscopes to determine your personality and what not. I think i would say i am better with details, but i don't like calculate everything, but i do find myself thinking "oh what i am going to do now about this or that."
