This was such a great tutorial thank you! Really easy to follow and my little sock turned out great!
Thank You very much. I´m so happy to hear that You liked the tutorial🌺❤🙂
This was a fantastic tutorial. I went from barely being able to make a granny square and now I can make a decent looking sock. ❤
That's wonderful to hear! It's impressive that you've progressed from making granny squares to crafting a decent looking sock. Sock making can be quite challenging, so you should be proud of your accomplishment. Keep up the great work, and remember, each project you undertake builds your skills even further. If you have any questions or need help with future projects, feel free to ask. Happy crafting! ❤🧦🧶
Thanks for this tutorial. I successfully made the first sock(used a bigger hook to make for my 9 month old to wear around Christmas. I love them😍)

I luv them!!
Thank You❤️😊
Love this video! Just a quick question, could I do this in a cotton yarn with similar end results? If so, which one would you recommend?💜
Thank You so much Im glad you liked it☺ I would definitely recommend some yarn that has a lot of elasticity in it, like the yarn I use in the video. Cotton has almost no elasticity, so it is not very suitable for baby socks. Good luck with the project🌺❤
THANK YOU TOO FOR SUCH A HELPFUL VIDEO ❤❤❤
Thank You very much ☺ That makes me very happy to hear. All this loving support makes it all woth it to me☺❤
Very well explained video. Can the Merino yarn be substituted for medium #4 worsted weight yarn? If so, would I use the 5.5mm hook or a different size? Thank you!
Thank You very much❤☺. The Yarn Weight is #2 or Fine / Sport / 5 ply (recommended needle size: US 2.5 / 3 mm)
Very easy to follow, well put together! Thank you :) I made a slightly larger version by adding a row and two increases, and now it's toddler sized 🥰
Thank you very much. Im gksd thst you liked it. Yes I have Pattern too for bigger sizes. 🥰
I understand each step what you say. From Belgium 🙋 i dont need to speed up. What's nice done by you. I like your direct explanation. It's so clear thanks 🥳
Thank you very much for your comment 🥰 Yes I know the editing is not great in this video. It is one of my older videos. I have learned a lot since then. 🤗
@@AdoreCreaCrochet i think, it's already clear to understand in this video. I like to see just couple off stitches. From there i go and pick up after i'm done. Don't like long videos so i think it's well well done!! 🤩👏
Very nice, thank you very much 💖
THANK YOU❤️😊
Thankyou for the clear tutorial. It helps alot... pls assist If I want to make this socks for 3 years old... thankyou so much 😊🙏

@@AdoreCreaCrochet thanks a lot 🖤
Very nicely explained 👏
Thank You so much 🙂
After you add the little rope for the heel, do you have to continue to count 24 stitches around, join with the first stitch and chain one? Or do you just continue without stopping?
Thank you in advance and I love your tutorial
Yes you have to continue with 24 st and join😊
This was so easy to follow! It’s my new favorite thing to crochet. ( I accidentally crocheted one of the sock bigger than other lol my mistake 😅 )
I'm thrilled to hear that you found the tutorial easy to follow and that you're enjoying this new favorite crochet project! Accidentally crocheting one sock bigger than the other happens to the best of us - it's all part of the creative journey. In fact, those little quirks often add a unique touch to handmade items. Embrace the charm of your slightly different socks, and keep up the fantastic work. Your enthusiasm for crocheting is truly wonderful to see! 🧦🧶😄❤

this is so pretty...I've done the slip socks before but it doesn't look as pretty to be given as present 😅 this is pretty and easy
Thank you so much. I am happy to hear that you like them and found the Pattern easy. Have a great day😊❤️
Thank you for your tutorial! Quick question though: How would you change the size of the sock?
You are welcome☺ Thanks for watching. I have pattern for additional sizes right here: adorecrea.com/product/baby/crochet-baby-socks-size-0-24-months/
For the heel after you ch 1 do you hdc into the stitch you attached the yarn to or skip it?
Furthermore do I go into the sixth or seventh stitch when I attach the yarn
Yes work into every stitch. I recommend that you follow the free written pattern for all the details: adorecrea.com/crochet-baby-socks/
Hey,thank you for the tutorial!💕 Can you put these in the washing machine?🥲
Hey 😊You are welcome. Yes you can machine wash these sock if you use super wash yarn like I did❤
Thx soo much for the pattern, currently making this for a newborn baby, the socks are coming out really cute ❤️
Thank you so much. I am very happy to hear that you like my video😊❤️
I have bernat soft baby yarn in light #3. What size crochet hook would I use? Its a thinner yarn
Hi🥰 This is thinner sport weight yarn, so when using #3 yarn your socks will turn out bigger. I used a 3mm hook for the socks.
So beautiful, cannot wait to make these! May I ask, why size are these ones?
You’re a very great teacher!
Thank you so much 😊❤️ These are a size 0-3 months. Additional sizes can be found onmy website 🙂
These are very nice socks. I have a question though. If you want to do a smaller size, do you use a smaller hook and if so, what size? Thank you.
Thank You so much 🙂 You can try using a 2.5 mm crochet hook.
(5.46) when making the rounds for the ankle, do I chain one and start the next round or go around in a spiral?
Hi there 😊 Chain 1 and start the next round.
First time crocheting something other than samples or a baby hat and a sock is deffinetky the hardest. Onto the second one
Thank you for this tutorial. I am having trouble with the heel. When I do the chain 12 and continue on, it always ends up twisted. I’ve redone it 3x and still ends up twisted. Any helpful hints would be appreciated. 😊
I have the same issue, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. It's really confusing working with an even number of stitches here
This is great!! Quick question- do you know approximately what size this would be? As in would this fit a newborn or 0-3m or 3-6m?
Thank you so much. 🥰 Following the pattern correctly. these sock will fit a baby between 3-6 months
Do you need to put the ribbing on or will it still stay up if you don't add it
Yes the ribbed edge significantly helps to keep the sock on the foot. So I would definitely recommend making it. If you find the instructions for this part difficult to follow. Alternatively, you can make the ribbing separately and sew it on later.
Best of luck with your project😊🌺
I cannot follow how the heel is completed. But l gained new k nowledge about crocheting socks. Thankyou.❤
Thank you for your feedback, and I'm glad to hear you've gained new knowledge about crocheting socks. I understand that completing the heel can be one of the more challenging parts of crocheting the socks.
If you have specific questions or need more detailed guidance, feel free to ask. Keep up the great work, and don't get discouraged - crocheting socks is an impressive skill that takes time to master! ❤🧦🧶
Do you mind teaching how to make a dungaree/overalls for a 1 year old. ?
Thats a good idea. I will consider it🙂❤️
What size hook do I need to make these into newborn size please? I love these socks. I'm due December🥰
Thank you very much for your comment and congratulations on your pregnancy🙂❤ These socks will fit a baby 0-3 months and will fit some newborns. The foot length is approx. 9.5 cm. You can try to make them with a 2.5 mm. crochet hook, if you want them to be smaller. But I haven't tried it myself. Good luck with the project. I hope you will be happy with them🌺
@@AdoreCreaCrochet I adjusted the pattern to fit newborn. Thank you for you reply😊
cool
Great to hear that you found it cool! Thank you for commenting❤😊
How are you joining the new yarn at 6:45? I'm a beginning and I've fastened off my yarn from the magic circle rounds and now can't figure out how to start again
You will just attach the nwe yarn to the st. Just tie a knot.🙂
Can v do this with any size of krosha????????
Needle size and yarn thickness will determine the size of your socks🙂
Hi, after making the hole for the heel, my stitch per round reduced to 23. Is this correct? Or I have missed out any stitch?
You missed a stitch. The stitch count should not be reduced. 🙂
Yes I ended up with 23 stitches as well. now I have to do it the 3rd time. your not making your stitch counts clear at the end of each row. & in the beginning of each row. Please repeat your stitch counts. Also rnds 12to 19 what's the purpose in slip stitching in the middle of crocheting? Slst end of each row 12 to 19 only making confusing & st counting. I stop slstitching in 12 to19 rows. Now my st counting is good at the end of each row to 19.
At the end of each round one shall do 1 sl in the first st of the round, and then at the start of the next round one shall do HDC INC in the first st. Is this all in the same st? So first 1 sl and then HDC Inc in the same st.
Yes🙂👍
Mam after taking 12 chain whether we shall make 1/2 dc in the same chain or in the remaining chain ...pl let me know ...I am little bit confuse 🙏
In the remaining 12 chains😊
What size socks are these? Can an 18 month baby to 2 year baby wear them?
Hi these are made for a 0-3 month old baby. I do have a pattern for additional sizes on my website adorecrea.com🙂
I did one..but it's hard to make a final
Hello, thank you for your comment🙂. If you have already successfully crocheted one sock, just make the next one in exactly the same way. have fun with the project❤☺
Just made these and I have to say I loved your tutorial🤍 So easy to follow, and very nicely explained! Thank you so much for your videos, I’ll use more of them for sure🤍
Thank You so much that means alot to me to hear. ☺❤
We can make one for an adult?
I think it would be a great idea to make the pattern to fit an adult. Ihope to find the time later this year to make the pattern in adult sizes😊
6:20
Question... Why do we fasten off the yarn?
Can i just chain 11 for the ribbing without fastening it?
Hi😊 The reason I fasten off the yarn is to attach it again back of the sock, so the seam will be in the back. it is only for aesthetics and serves no purpose beyond that. You can of course not fasten off and just continue working😊❤
@@AdoreCreaCrochet thank you for your answer! And honestly thank you for your amazing video, it was very helpful. ❤️

How can i crochet this in adult size ?
It will take some work to figure out how to make the Pattern for adult size, but I will consider making the pattern when I have time😊
Honestly , it is not easy first of all and its really time consuming, plus the unending heel.. i regreted making this when i reached the heel section… but this will still be helpful for others who are experienced . Thank you
Thank you for sharing your experience. I guess the pattern can be a little bit challenging, especially for those who are new to crocheting. However, it is important to remember that with practice and experience, it will easier and less time-consuming. Your feedback will be helpful for others who are more experienced and looking for a new challenge. Thanks for sharing! 🌺☺
Mam I have 6mm hook only I want to make socks for 6month baby boy so how much chain and how to do mam can you please explain me clearly?
It is very difficult to say when using a different type of yarn. You have to try and see
Will it be ok to newborn or its too big?
It is from 0-3 months 😊
Does the chain at the beginning of the round count as a stitch
No it does not🙂
Hi, if i initially start with 16 stitches(i needed a bigger pair), how many stitches do i need for the heel? I tried to make it myself , but the heel didn’t turn out even. Thanks!
Hello there😊 It sounds like you are developing your own pattern, unfortunately I can't help you with that. But I do have a pattern on my website which is up to 2 years old. It can be found at www.adorecrea.com
@@AdoreCreaCrochet Ok, thanks!
I made these but I made the top difference
Thank you for your comment. It's always nice when you can put your own personal touch on your work.😊
What size are these?
Size 0-3 months foot lenght 9,5 cm
After round 19, why did you end the row instead of continuing with the 11 chain?
This is because it looks nicer when the seam is on the back of the sock🙂
Help...so I followed the tutorial and I completed the first sock but when I'm moving onto the second sock after round 11 my stitch pattern changes? Even tho I keep doing the same thing. Anyone knows what I'm doing wrong? I tried so many times and still do the same mistake (but idk what the mistake is!!) Ugh
the second sock is made in exactly the same way as the first. So just repeat what you did the first time. If necessary, watch the video again. It sometimes helps😊
So after pulling all my hair out I finally realized that you meant hdc into every chain not stitch to start forming the heel opening. 😅😅😅 my first time making socks after 58 yrs of self taught right hand crochet! (I’m a lefty)
Congratulations on making your firt pair of socks! It can be quite a journey to learn new techniques, especially when you've been self-taught for many years. It's understandable how a small misinterpretation can lead to some hair-pulling moments, but I'm glad you figured it out and found the solution.
Making socks for the first time after 58 years of crochet is truly impressive! You should be proud of your dedication and willingness to try something new. Being a lefty adds an extra layer of complexity, but it's fantastic to see you embrace the challenge.❤😊
@@AdoreCreaCrochet thank you! Your patterns are wonderful!
@@inmyopinion9844 Thank You so much. That´s really nice to hear. And you are very welcome🥰
Hi! Can I sell what I make with your patterns?
Yes you can👍😊
May i know what type of fiber the yarn used??
Yes of course. It is 100% Merino Wool
@@AdoreCreaCrochet is it same like cotton? Im sorry for asking many times coz this is my very first time crocheting🥺
What size yarn
Yarn Weight: 2 or Fine / Sport / 5 ply (recommended needle size: US 2.5 / 3 mm)

I do not think I can explain it more clearly than in the video. I would recommend you to watch the clip again, or follow the free written pattern on my blog: adorecrea.com/crochet-baby-socks/
For one year old ..how to adjust
You can find the Pattern on my website adorecrea.com/product/baby/crochet-baby-socks-size-0-24-months/
I really like it but in the beggining there is 2 jump on the video and the full process is not visible, as begginer its a bit hard to follow what its going on there :/ but after its more easy.
In the beginning I am making a magic circle. If it is not very clear in my video. You can find many great videos on how to make a magic circle here on CZcams😊.
Are the socks in the video newborn size?
They are size 0-3 months. Foot lenght 9 cm. If you use the recommended yarn 🙂
Alright, thank you! I will try to follow the tutorial 👍🏽
What's the hook's size?
It´s a 3 mm. hook
I don't understand how you did the second chain, the video is cut there :(.
I apologize if there is a point that is not completely clear in this video. This was one of my first videos. I will make a new and improved version of this video soon. To make a chain you will just yarn over and pull through the loop on the hook.
I cannot follow at this speed ,this is my first time
You can change the speed of the video in the settings tab🙂
Wendy I can’t crochet that fast either so after she gives the info and shows how, I stop my phone and do what she says. Sometimes I have to rewind several times to get it
@@AdoreCreaCrochet you cut the video that’s why it’s hard to follow it. Too many cuts
@@miregiatamassey3494 Excuse me but making youtube videos is a learning process. This is one of my first videos from a year and a half ago. And no, it's definitely not perfect. @@AdoreCreaCrochet Sorry I was getting frustrated, im new so i kept rewatching that one part trying to get the magic circle right. I even slowed it down! I got it though, thank you!

Step 1 - magic chain - failed. Sadly that part with first magic chain is not well explained or maybe it is just me :/
Okay
Sorry to say Not well explained
Sorry to hear that you think so.
Agreed, it’s so confusing and has unnecessary steps, this video is honestly frustrating to follow along to, plus the most important steps are skipped, just show step by step. It’s already recorded no need for editing out necessary steps. No offense.
Does the chain at the beginning of the round count as a stitch
No it does not🙂
For which age this sock is fit? is it for newborn?
Hi 🙂 This is for 0-3 months the foot length is approx 9 cm.
