- Outbreak is set 10 years after the movie Aliens. This story focuses on two of the survivors, Hicks and Newt. They have both been struggling with the aftermath of their encounter with the Xenomorphs. Hicks has never gotten over the annihilation of his squad and agrees to covert mission to travel to the alien home world to recover some eggs and destroy the hive.

I LOVE these videos that cover the Alien topic, Never had the money to get comic books and so I resort to these types of videos.

Brilliant storyline. I picked these comics up from my favorite comic book shop in Mexico ages ago. Years after that I heard great narrations of these on CZcams which got my love for the dark horse Alien, AVP, and Predator comics again.
Normally, I wasn't serious when it comes to comics but these were the first one where I was serious the entire time while reading them.
I would really love these to be part of the new canon. It made the Alien far more horrific and added more dimension to the already synthetic or as Bishop would correct me to say, "artificial persons" 🙂
There is also the elements first seen from the first film of horrors beyond our own. Not just the Xeno, but the space jockey race and other horrors beyond that.

One thing I was always curious about from the al8ens movie is why nobody has ever expanded on the aliens the marines talked about, the ones they laughed about having sex with because it doesn't matter whether they are male or female and the ones they refer to as a "bug hunt".
