Disclaimer: I see Duncan and Jimmy as good friends, maybe even a bromance but nothing more. I put this together to try and make a funnier video of Shetland rather than the more deeper ones I have made in the past. Hope you all enjoy!

When Asha tells Perez she should go when they're in his hotel room in Season 3 (I think?) and he says, "Okay," it's the most brilliant okay I've ever heard.

I love the friendship (at times difficult) between Jimmy and Duncan--and of course, the relationship between Cassie and both her biological father (Duncan) and the "dad" who raised her (Jimmy). Great idea to plan those relationships that way.

I just discovered Shatland this week and binge watch all 5 series in three days. Then looked here and found out you are the only one making fun videos. So thank you for this one, it's absolutely amazing.
i can't figure out if the spelling is a deliberate joke or just a typo, but it gave me a good chuckle.
Love Shetland and enjoyed the humor presented in the video but the background music overpowers the dialogue

@@FandomGirluk Lovely video, the two are perfect foils for each other. They could make a wonderful comedy couple together with the right writer to produce, sort of along the lines of The Two Ronnies. Utterly delightful and essential for this series as it gives the audience little breaks from the tension within the Shetland series. After all, Shakespeare used this method in both The Scottish Play & Hamlet, he knew the audience can only tolerate so much horror & terror.

I’m searching for the brilliant scene of Jimmy & Duncan & Duncan drunk on the beach saying “you put me down.” It’s such fantastically pitched. I love these too. But now I’ve got Mark in Guilt. Fabulous dramedy.

You know there is something a little curious about my village of Monks Eleigh and surrounding area since I watched Shetland. There are an awful lot of dopple-gangers of some of the characters from the series.

The viewer base for this series seems to be made of 15 year olds and 70+ year olds and nothing in between, and it's proving to be a more powerful alliance than I expected.
Love this series watched twice so far.Can only get up to Season 3 in NZ.Anyone know can I buy the DVDs or where I can watch it ? Desperate.Please help.

@@poppysboogy they will film season 6 this year if Covid allows, so it isn't out yet. There should be a season 7. Ann Cleeves who writes the books will write the eighth and final one this year so not sure if it will go beyond 8 seasons. A lot of the confusion comes about because Season 1 was only two episodes. Seasons 2 to 5 were 6 episodes each. But often they lump seasons 1 and 2 together....at least that is how Netflix did it.

Good video, but the music is a distraction imo.
I had a quick look at the trade name on the fridge, half hoping it was an Indesit like my new one bought the other day as my Curry's packed up. Jimmy's is an Orek although it is about the same size, oh well, win a few, lose a few, one can live with it. Anyway with a bit of imagination, need I say more.
@Fiona Johnston - Thanks for posting this. I had no idea Orek made fridges. My mom had one of their vacuums, it was a real workhorse. The hard part was it weighed like a workhorse.
