As a woman, earlier I used to feel bad about sita being abandoned in forest. But I did lots of research and got 2 main justification for Ram's actions :
1. No woman should misuse Sita's name and stay in a another unknown man's house as her wish
2. People have started to doubt Ram's ability to make dharmic decisions, so any enemy king can create confusion among Ayodhya people and create internal riots. so in order to regain people's trust, he had to take action on sita
For wellbeing of citizens, soldiers sacrifice their life in the battlefield.... like that, for the wellbeing of Ayodhya people, Ram and Sita had to sacrifice their personal life....
Nope, 2)maybe our Lord Rama gives away family related justice to other people.
1)It's an individual/mutual decision about a woman staying in another person house.
There is some more deep reason about it. We have to get the truth meaning of it by our Lord Rama blessings.

I think since Rama was KING of Ayodhya as well as normal citizen of Ayodhya, there must be inner dialogue between both KING Rama and citizen Rama, since citizen Rama is also equal to all citizen in Ayodhya kingdom. citizen Rama submerged his love upon Sita inside himself and made decision as per all other citizen. Because no other men can reply to Washerman badhra's question. If any of them replied alternatively, there may be chance for citizen Rama to speak. But now he has no strength to give reply but also truth has to be proved. He leftover his decision to KALAM THE PERIOD and KING RAMA became strength to give judgement. PERIOD Proved that Sita was holy. Unfortunately due to Gent's supremacy over ladies in ayodhya made citizen Rama too to bow before them. Although he know the truth, he cannot speak over mouth. It must be felt from inner heart.

I have heard that Sage Valmiki, completed Ramayana, with the portion of Pattabhisheka portion of Rama and Sita, ( after saving sita from Ravana, by killing Ravana ) AND that, the rest of the Ramayana was written after 1500 years by some unknown person.
Also that, in Mahabharatha, where Ramayana is narrated, it ends with, what is stated above ( with Rama's Pattabhisheka).
CAN ANYONE CLARIFY THIS, PLEASE.
It is a big debate topic, a lot if people think the last chapter Uttarakanda is false, especially because the writing style is not like Valmiki. CZcams channel Project Shivoham does a full study on this subject, you can have a look, but his conclusion is that parts of it are surely real.

Who ever the man including Ram subject to natural law(VIDHI) like Sathi's death where even though Shiva was a God and could not stop her death or Pitha left Jesus at the mercy of ordinary men.
There are a few observations that O either to make:
1. One day while in the pleasure gardens of Ayodhya Sri Rama noticed Sita bedecked with ornaments and instantly understood that Sita was gravid.
To Sri Rama's query on any desire of hers at that time, Sita expressed her desire to spend at least one night in a hermitage full of fruit-laden and flowering trees and chirping birds. Sri Rama said her ambition would be fulfilled the very next day. (Ref: Uttarakanda Canto XLII)
2. The very next day, as per destiny, Sita had to be taken to the precincts of Sage Valmiki by Lakshmana. Sita was elated to know that her ambition was being fulfilled and happily carried gifts for seers and others.
3. It was after reaching there and before Lakshmana took leave of her that Sita came to know why she was brought there. Sita sent word with an apologetic Lakshmana to convey to Sri Rama that just he was upholding righteousness as an illustrious ruler who has forsaken his pregnant wife for fear of infamy.
"Treat your citizens like your brothers as that is the greatest Dharma. And she would support her husband even at the cost of her life to help him overcome the public censure.
4. Now, if there is a beginning there is an end. Sita's existence on earth has to end and this is a prelude to her eventually joining Mother Earth. So everything.was to happen as pre-ordained. But for this situation Lav and Kusa would not have sung Valmiki's composition and the very Ramayana might not have seen the light of the day.

If a husband of the present yugam was to suspect his wife the recourse would be a Divorce notice with alimony.
