Do sous-vide the steak with instant noodles seasoning
Yes
This is the best request I've seen In a while wow
This is genius
Thats gonna be so over powering... But i like it! Do it! Id recommend the top internationally eaten ramen / instant noodles.
Ahmad Zaki they can try marinating the beef in the instant broth then sous vide like usual
“what number is this?”
“number C”
I died😭😭
Lol
LMAO always get the kick out of those "numbers"
Guga try onion juice for marinate. It works as pineapple juice but gives great taste.
They use onion juice, yoghurt or milk to marinade, i am curious if they really soften the meat and if yhey do how much do they tenderize the meat.
Interesting. I'm going to try this too.
I like cooking some sliced onion every time I make a steak. Makes a tasty side and adds amazing flavor.
Ziyavuddin Vakhobov he did an experiment about it before.
@@DACFalloutRanger I do that too, I could eat onions with a side of onion 😁
I would LOVE to see "The Chile Experiment"!
Adobo
Plain Chipotle
Smoked Hatch
Bell
Poblano
And any other crazy ones you can think of!
The ninja couldn't handle it
Habanero!!
Kaitlyn couldn’t agree more! Make one prank steak being very spicy 😎
pepper x
Also, if this experiment goes well, try green(unripe) vs ripe hot peppers. Some have different flavors and heat levels.
You can really tell when ninja is sick
I still remember when ninja took so many chews at the pepto bismol steak lol
He's always sick because he is not vaccinated!!
@@stevejeffries2571 he needs a wagyu A5 vaccine shot.
@@stevejeffries2571 How the hell do you know that?
Steve Jeffries
In Cuba everyone’s vaccinated dummy
It’s mandatory
Should do a broth experiment! Aka Beef, chicken, etc...!!!!!
Good idea
I like the idea!
Slow cooker pot roast? But in soy vide?
Yeah maybe miso to
@justinhughes Sounds very promising will Try it 🤤
Poor Ninja. He looks absolutely zonked!
My dad been discovered the Italian dressing, it’s been one of the main ingredients to his marinade my entire life, and it kicks
RIP to all of the limes they never touch! Cheers from Detroit!
Do different powder mixes.
A. Tang
B. Swiss Miss hot chocolate
C. Country time lemonade
D. The pack of ramen powde
E. Control
Tony Myers forgot kool aid
Romen power works well
Swiss miss? I think u mean Swiss piss
DONT YOU PUT THAT EVIL ON ME RICKEY BOBBY!!!
Who else hears the “sear song” when they sear their steaks? I do lol
what's the name of the song?
@@Lioneriod sear song
Get well Ninja.. You just need some wagyu & pao de queijo..
Ninja really makes a difference.
Do these next:
1)Ketchup
2)Mayonnaise
3)Ranch Dressing
4)Dijon Mustard
5)BBQ
6)Marmalade
7)Hotsauce
8)Soy Sauce
9)Honey
10)Fish Sauce
Jason Grace and Worcestershire sauce
Ketchup & Mayonnaise is best with pork and chicken!!!
I've done fish sauce. It's like dry-aged with a lil fish funk 😂
Jason Grace I've been requesting honey for months now, I really wanna know how it would affect the flavor
Guga: *names Chanel soul vide everything*
Also guga: *doesnt sou vide the limes*
John Basheer or the cutting board and utensils 😂
FRAUD!!!
Lmao or the other testers/himself
Always waiting for a Guga video to come out while eating breakfast in the morning. Paid off today folks
Ninja out of character, get better bro!
dfernandez290 yeah I think he looks really depressed hope he feels better
He's still recovering from the week long steak experiment.
@senior jack Opinions are like butts... Yours is bigger than most. Ninja is part of why I watch this channel.
senior jack what is ninjas channel?
senior jack ninja has his own channel, what is it bud. Whoa glad to meat 😉 another fan
You should do the powdered dressings as a spice rub, we like zesty italian....
+1 for this Guga. Like butter the dressings have water that might be diluting the taste. Dry spices sound way better.
@@Monzt3r - right and all of those dressings use cheap crappy soybean oil, which is awful for you as well!!!
3:48- Did Guga rip one when he stood up from his seat? Looool
😆
You should do a steak tournament with all the cuts of steak. With things like brisket , picanha , ribeye , ribeye cap, new york strip and others
paragon1168 that’ll cost like 2k lol
@@paynoc8446 2k is definitely an overestimate, half a cow is like 2k.
I've marinated steaks in Italian dressing before and love it but my absolute favorite is marinating steaks in Balsamic vinegar, it's amazing
I think Ninja has some illness he didn't scream Deeeelicious !
PutOutMyFireWithGasoline he probably meant f in the chat for ninja idk
Brody Caruso thats what i was thinking lol
senior jack dickhead
I love Ceaser dressing so I'm bummed it didn't come out better.
BTW, my favorite is the one and only original: Cardini's
If you try other dressings as marinade give Greek dressing a shot.
It's used at a local Greek restaurant on their Souvlaki (marinated beef & chicken) and quite tasty.
No ranch dressing 😭 that’s my favorite
Glad you guys did this one. As long as I can remember, bottled salad dressing was the bachelor's marinade secret. I first used it over 30 years ago. Nice to know it works with sous vide.
6:12 “What A hell is that” 😂😂
GUGA! You should try adding blue cheese to a steak before cooking to give it a dry aged flavor. Some funkiness from the cheese could be good! Maybe leave it overnight for a few days in the fridge and then cooking it without the cheese on it? Maybe make a sauce with the cheese you took off before cooking?
I love how we get steaks right in the morning no matter the way it’s prepped. Keep it coming! Love watching these.
We've been experimenting with sous vide as well, if you ever get the chance, please check them out - would love to know what you think.
My parents have been marinating steaks in Italian dressing for decades. It's awesome!
Y'all should try different vinaigrettes. Like a raspberry vinaigrette
The Italian dressing definitely works, been using it for awhile
Have Ninja try three of the exact same steaks and tell him they’re super different and see what he says.
Blue cheese compound butter to finish off a steak is AWESOME
In my opinion you should only use non-dairy vinaigrettes for marinating meats
Cheryl Dawson shut up
Is there a such thing as a vinaigrette that contains dairy?
@@marcelw6440 I guess bluecheese dressing could include cream
where i live in northern spain the most typical meat dish is 'solomillo con queso picón' which is sirloin with melted cantabric blue cheese on the top, in the shape of a sauce or just melted down with the heat of the meat, you should try it out. We also have always as side dish good french fries and confit or baked red bell peppers with garlic
DO THIS SAME VIDEO AGAIN BUT WITH KETCHUP AND BBQ SAUCES!!!!
How about a steak and cheese experiment. Normally cheese got a lot of fat which renders out when warmed. Wenn you cook a steak sous vide with different kind of cheese slices on it, the oil from the cheeses can flavor the steak. I think of blue cheese, Parmesan, Camembert, Mozzarella, old gouda.
Guga, you da man! Sous Vide Everything is my favorite channel on CZcams
Hey I love him too but it's thanks to BBQ Pit Boys that I even found him. It's one of the oldest food channels on CZcams and they deserve some respect too.
I love your channel!! Bought my first sous vide circulator 2 weeks ago and now every dinner is sous vide in my kitchen. My husband is loving it and my picky 7 yr old is eating everything I cook!! Thank you!! Will you do some sous vide low country seafood boil for us??We love shrimp crab clams mussels and would love to see how sous vide may up the seafood game!!
I’m on a steak only diet... because
I like steak 🤪
This is good 👍🏻
Things that should’ve happened 🤨:
• Dry-aged sausages
•Chile Experiments
• More exotic meats like the Elk video
• Broth Experiments
• Different types of pasta, Even squid ink pasta that could’ve been sous vide
We want ”swedish jacuzzi”, it means that u dry age meat for atleast 30days. Then cover in butter or beef tallow and age for 20 more days
Make it happen
Hi Guga, two things.
1) When you marinade with pineapple and struggle to get a crust smear Hot English Mustard lightly over the meat after you have patted dry and then sear the meat - it creates a yum crust with no mustard flavour.
Which brings me to No. 2
2) Please try a mustard experiment with American, Hot English, Dijon etc.
Why don't make a "pao de Queijo" burgers
D Patel wtf stfu and gtfo out of here liking ur own comment
👍Thanks. 💝 I’ve marinated in Italian & Blue Cheese dressings before but I!ll have to try the Thousand Island dressing.
: *WHAT NUMBER IS IT?*
: *C*
I used to marinate meats in those dressings many years ago. The Italian was great for pork kebabs. Blue cheese dressing is good for a sliced beef salad.
Nobody:
Guga: *so let’s dew it*
That’s right! Let’s do it!!!!!!
nice original comment🤡
Malon Jelks when you still use the clown emoji 😍😍😍
Really liked this test ! I've used all of these but Thousand Island as marinades, and just marinades... not sous vide yet... I only got a sous vide recently and need to finish the instructions ! Will add that on the bleu cheese dressing ( and I DON'T like bleu cheese btw ) that it is really good to put it inside the steak in a pocket. Get a narrow bladed filet knife and cut thru a small hole at one end, so you can have a large pocket inside with only a small hole so everything doesn't squirt out too easily. When it is cooked, bleu cheese is actually good, and totally different tasting from the uncooked cheese ! Try it as a stuffing sometime Guga. Maybe try stuffing a few different steaks with cheeses, nuts, breaded stuffing, maybe pre-cooked shellfish like crab or shrimp/lobster ?
Day 2 of asking Guga to make a restaurant call "The Guga Experience."
Italian dressing and dales is best marinate combo I've ever came across.
👋🤗🤗🤗🇮🇹
Italians do it better, sometimes 😁
Ninja is absolutely hanging. What a trooper for battling through this lol
I'm shocked that the blue cheese one was good.. this was super interesting. Suprising actually.
i use to use Italian to marinade my tri-tips. you have to use the Newmans own dressing.
Ninja: that is good.
Guga:
THAT IS GOOD!!!!!!!
Heinz 57 & Italian 50/50 mix makes an amazing marinade. I have been using it for years and it always surprises everyone. Not sure how good it would be sous vide but I am going to give it a try now.
Cubed Chicken beast marinaded in Italian dressing overnight, then skewered and grilled, is INCREDIBLE. You can also use it to marinade potatoes and grill them on the same skewers
Not for sous vide but I love marinading steak tips in one cup (zesty) Italian dressing, one cup ketsup, one can of coke, and seasonings (salt/pepper/garlic power/onion powder/whatever else you want). I usually let it marinade overnight but even just a few hours is great.
This marinade also works fantastic for chicken thighs, turkey, and I'm sure other meats as well.
Italian dressing is great on a burger. When I cooked at Friendly’s we put it on the Superbeef.
I've used Italian dressing before to marinate steaks in. It does give a good flavor.
I love it how Ninja doesn't even care anymore. Nothing can surprise him.
Italian dressing is one of my favorite steak marinades it also tenderizes the steak a bit
I’ve been using normal hidden valley ranch to marinate my steak, comes out delicious 👌🦦
Please consider re-doing this experiment the way you did the Worcestershire experiment: Vacuum seal and marinate them in the dressings for 2 hours, then remove, wipe, season (S/P), re-seal, and sous vide.
Guga, can you try that trick of comparing a New York strip sliced against the grain against the same cut sliced the way you normally slice it?
Cut the strip in half to see which way the grain is aligned, then slice each of the halves on a bias so that the slices are across the grain.
I'd love to see you try one sliced the way you normally slice, one sliced this way, and see how much slicing against the grain changes the texture.
Hey Guga, try Lawry's orange seasoning salt, pepper and French dressing on chicken or pork steak (like pork butt steak or pork shoulder steak). It may be a better fit for Guga Foods as you don't want to wipe off and eliminate all the French dressing from the surface, you actually want a bit on the final product. So season the meat and then put dressing on all sides and let it sit and marinate, then cook it indirect heat on your Webber, basting with fresh French dressing once in awhile. Give it that quick sear at the end and you will end up with super delicious chicken/pork.
Italian sauce used as a marinade for pork chops then breaded and fried is the best
My father who was a chef at home would always marinate his fajitas with Italian Dressing and salt to cook on the grill, very tender and flavorful ...
Lmfao just thinking abkut him saying hmu at 1:01 is too funny
06:04 the best 5 seconds in any Sous Vide Everything episode! Guga going MMmmm-WTH!?!?
I LOVE using Wish Bone Red Wine Vinegarette when I marinate steaks and of course it's fabulous on chicken too!
Poor ninja wasn’t his typical self! I’m sick right now too so I literally feel you. Not all that hungry but Sous Vide Everything always makes me hungry
Wishbone Italian dressing is the best on steaks 🤤
I have actually used Ken's steakhouse Caesar dressing as a marinate for my skirt steak Caesar sandwiches for years.
I feel like Ninja needs to cook for you Guga. He always eats the fantastic food you cook!!
I've marinated steaks in Italian dressing and then grilled it and that turned out pretty good.
I've used Greek vinaigrette dressing before, tastes great..
When I grill salmon I always use Italian. It's wonderful. Thanks for this episode.
It’s about time you brought ninja back!
@senior jack FU
Dude your channel cracks me up. I love the random ideas and your absolute passion for food
What about hotwings? And can I try them with you?
Will have to try these myself... I use the Italian dressing on the cheap (lean) steaks as an overnight marinade. Love the channel...
Use Olive Garden Italian dressing it is amazing
Good day! I just hope you can try the sous-vide adobo pork short rib. Best when slow cooked. Filipino delicacy, very flexible cooking options basically it consist of soysauce, vinegar, salt, pepper, a bit of sugar and laurel leaves. Optional ingredients are coconut milk or pineapples, and many more, we can search google.
Guga I made your sous vide mashed potatoes today and they were absolutely life changing. Thank you!
Really need to try deer back strap and pan sear it with butter and olive oil
Try to marinade Beef steak in this marinade : 1 1/2 cups cooked black or green tea (best is Dajerling)
2 teaspoons stone ground mustard
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon fresh marjoram, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon fresh oregano, roughly chopped
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil , mix all ingredients and put raw steak in marinade in zip bag and in refrigerator for 24 h. remove marinade from stake, klen and pet dry and put on BBQ.
Just wanna say thank you for the weekly vids! We all love you!
love the we sous vide everything part put that in every video
Guga! I've been watching you for years and everything you touch turns to gold.
Hope you read this.
Do sous-vide with maruchan noodle seasoning instead of salt
~not my idea but it sounded great
I love your videos. I think you are the man. Thanks for doing all these experiments for us so we don't have to. Maybe you can try the dry ranch. The powder one. I like to eat ranch burgers and at times I like to dip my stake in ranch dressing. I think you man enjoy and I'd like to see your face when you do try it. I'm sure you can make a video about it some way and look forward to it. Much love from Hawaii. Aloha
Wish bone Italian dressing and pineapple pure for thanks giving turkey, I usually use about 2 pineapples, 2 large bottles of the dressing and top the rest off with water (only to cover the turkey! It’s soooo good lol
Ninja really hit us with the "Number D" lmao
Seeing you use Ken's Steakhouse dressing makes me wish you had used my favorite, the Asian Ginger salad dressing. Good stuff.
Ninja looks like he wants to take a nap
Guga, we marinate Flank Steak in that WIshbone Robusto Italian dressing for at least 24 hours all the time and cook it directly out of the marinade onto the hot grill, and it comes out INCREDIBLE! Definitely give it a try!
Awesome thanks guga, I was one of the subscribers that made this recommendation. Guga your the best and excellent job with the content!
Do sous vide with Cotten candy sugar ?
Sounds good with a candy caramelization
Hear me out.. YOU GOTTA TRY ITALIAN DRESSING AND A1 MIXED
Which Italian dressing?
