  • In this video I talk about the HK USP and P2000 DAO fire control systems V2. In Part 2 I talk about the V1 and V3 DA/SA system. These HKs have no modifications, factory original setup.

Finally someone who explains LEM as it really is!

Good video, especially how a lighter trigger return spring slows the reset. Thanks.

Great video I’m getting this system for both my USP9, USP40 and my P2000 40

Thanks! It's one of my favorite trigger systems on a pistol.. have fun with your HKs!

So you're basically making your gun striker fire with a longer pull if you reset all the way.. don't think I'll be trading my da/sa for that

I’m still lost as far as the safety of the LEM goes. Is it just as safe as a DA as in the trigger pull ACTUALLY pulling the hammer back? Or is the hammer in this truly pre cocked making the trigger pull only SEEM like it’s pulling the hammer back? My favorite thing about DA/SA is the fact that the trigger absolutely has to be pulled for a round to go off. Impossible for it to fire otherwise. I’m wanting to know if the LEM offers the same safety as a true DA.

Yes, it's just as safe as a DAO. You have to pull the trigger for the full travel for it to fire. There is no way for it to go off without pulling the trigger all the way back full travel . It can't go off because of the safety devices in the hammer mechanisms even if dropped.
The benefits over DAO are 5 lb pull instead of 10 lbs or more.
Also, while firing you can ride the reset just like a DA/SA or a Glock i.e. you don't have to bring the trigger all the way forward to fire again, however if you let go the trigger then you again have to pull it through full travel.
It acts just a like a Glock. Glocks are half cocked all the time but you still have to pull the trigger all the way for it to go off, and you can ride the reset also.
      Hope this helps.

    I Love my USP45 LEM

Ive got the Sig SP2022.. I think it steals a lot from the USP's but its about half the cost, and possibly even better. I had a high quality Airsoft USP that was supposed to be for training a long time ago. It seemed good, but when I shot the USP .45 in real life, I was not accurate with it. Thanks!

I got a SIG SP2022 and yeah it certainly does, has a great trigger, too. I think the USP is better but the SIG SP2022 is a fantastic fucking fun! I got that and a P220, then the P30 SK in DA/SA (SIG SP2022 is much nicer DA and the DA on the SP2022 > The P220 believe it or not, though mine has no SRT trigger) the HKs have more takeup but they have tension. One of mine is in a LEM which, after some work, has made me a very happy man. The SIG DAK trigger comes close but isn't as nice as you can't ride the reset as far as I know...IMO the USP DA/SA is more like the SIG, in fact I'd say it's nicer than the P220 (again without the SRT, plus a USP can have adjustable trigger installed)
The P30 DA/SA has this weird....kinda lem-adajacent trigger in SA, it's nice, actually, the take-up has stacking and pressure not unlike the LEM (though a bit lighter) so it allows you to kinda stage the trigger and get very, very accurate shots. I was putting rounds through the same hole @ 100 feet. Though to be fair I was a trained sniper for 3 tours in the Army and did really well with both eyes. Luckily for pistols I am cross dominant and they have modifications for canted sights.
Sorry to digress, I tend to ramble a bit after the knock to me head that caused some brain and eye damage, lol.

Got the USP and p30 in da sa but my p2000 trigger handles better than my SIG's or Berettas or even my performance center smith and Wesson's both revolvwr and striker

Why do a video where you need to tell us why you made the mistake of going to glock, and all you do is praise the HK. I don't understand you. Love HK

I don't know what video you watched, but I never said I made a mistake going to glock, I own these 2 HKs.. I'm just describing the fire control system which is excellent in both of these HKs. Glocks are great too..

I love Walther, HK, Sig, and FNH, Smith and Wesson, and beretta. The issue for me is that the specific guns I love by those manufacturers have limited "accessories" as opposed to Glock. I also "like" Glock but not "love" glock because Glock has the most accessories out there because of its undeserved raise to fame. and Glock selling to law enforcement for almost the cost of them making the gun it took over the "duty weapon". but I have yet to see a Glock outperform its biggest competitors 1x1 in terms of durability, reliability, and function under stress.
one of the saddest days of my like was selling my usp and P200. those were my prized possessions, but recently lost a job and had car bill, rent, and cell phone bills I was paying to keep job hunting. never did get around to replacing them. that's my new project.

Dont worry about HK, they betrayed us, i mean us as in 10mm fans. I had the p2000 and p2000sk, both in .40SW, both had factory LEM triggers, and fresh tru dot night sights. Too bad HK doesnt make 10mm. I dont miss the p series, they are nice and all that but forget HK, Glock 29 EDC

    • @TheBoxingCannabyte
      @TheBoxingCannabyte Před 6 lety +4

Get them in .357 sig and you'll be happy. Betrayed us? Lol. they built the USP entirely around the .40 design. They came up with the LEM system and have the most robust poly-framed pistol in the world with the most carry options and trigger systems. To top it off the HK P7M8 is probably the best single-stacked striker fired gun in the world. The P7 M16 is damn close, Pardini, Sig X-five and X-six....probably a few others you know but few have a trigger as nice outside of those and perhaps some custom 9mm browning designs.
All this said, you really want to EDC or tactically/duty carry 10mm? .40 has plenty of stopping power and the USP, USPc, P2000 and P30 all have excellent recoil management. though I've found the USP has the best.
PS: .357 SIG is probably the better defensive round than 10mm overall, follow-up shots and stopping power being a better combo. That said, to each their own. Maybe it'd be possible for you to get a custom 10mm USP barrel and magazines.
