I’m applying for F-1 visa. My sponsor lives around my university and my school said once a sponsor lives within a driving distance from the university, he/she can provide an affidavit indicating that they will provide board and room for the student without providing a bank account statement. Is it okay to follow that riot and wouldn’t be a problem during the interview?

Hello! Please i got my old Acknowledgment letter for spring but i deferred to fall. I have received my I-20 form and i also have gotten a visa date but i don't know what i should do about the Admission letter since my acknowledgement letter is showing spring and im going for fall.
Ask the university to give you another admissions letter sometimes it will require you to do another application that happened to me as well

Why is no visa advisor not talking about the code or page you need to generate before you pay the Visa/MRV fee..?
I’ve watched dozens of videos about preparations after receiving you I-20, yet no one seem to talk about that particular code/page you need to generate before you go to the bank to pay the visa fee..
I had this challenge on the day on payment, i didn’t know anything about it until the person who’s paying for me in another country got to the bank only to be told that they need a code..
Please can you go to the embassy with attestation letter in place of your certificate, if certificate is not ready????

Fred please whats the difference between the visa application fee and the SEVIS fee?
The visa fee is the amount you pay to book your visa appointment. It is paid at GT Bank.
The SEVIS Fee is an amount you pay to the International Students Office of the University you have gained admission into. Mostly it is done via western Union or via any of the agencies working on behalf of the US embassy. It cost 350 usd
Can you be denied the visa if you don’t bring your old passport along with you but you have the new one there?

You may not need to carry one. Just incase it is requested by the officer. There is a section of the DS 160 that asks of "entity paying for trip"

Very informative video, just one question, on that Form I20: On Financial side, I saw personal funds of 19,000$, do we have to show personal proof of funds even if you get funding from University?
If your university is funding everything you don't have a problem.
If they are funding part, you will have to show proof of funding for the balance.
