I haven’t read Renegades yet but I loveeeeee the Lunar Chronicles by that author. Really good ya sci fi / fantasy retellings with great plot, characters and romance

Omg is Rachel becoming a sci fi girly?? The genre is truly underrated among mainstream books so I’m happy you’re dipping your toes into the genre. Marissa Meyer’s other series, The Lunar Chronicles, is one of absolute favorites!! Definitely read that one too if you can 🩷

if you liked next of kin, i highly recommend out on a limb but also the book after NoK which is next to you!! i binged these books within a week because i loved this authors writing style and the characters in next to you

ToG is my favorite SJM series too! I love so many of the characters it just easily took my #1 spot
One romcom author that I love is Kasie West. She has like 10 or 15 books written and a lot of them are in an interconnected universe. My personal favorite is Maybe This Time, but a lot of people like Lucky In Love. A fantasy author that I ADORE is Jeff Wheeler. He has 3 series that are interconnecting, but I started with the last one and was able to completely understand the series. He also has christian themes in all of his books which we love, and i bet you would enjoy it! :)

I personally love Carissa's writing because it gets better and better with each book. I do recommend reading the War of Lost Hearts trilogy first then the Crowns of Nyaxia because of the phase. I read the other way round and I keep pushing myself to finish the trilogy.

Can I just say how appreciative I am Rachel as someone who lives with multiple sclerosis. I know when I was younger I did the MS readathon in primary school little did I know I would end up living from 16- death with this debilitating disease so thank you 💜🧡

Hannah Bonam-Young is definitely an underrated author! You should also try Next to You by her as well! It's the sequel to Next of Kin and follows their friends. It was longer and definitely more slowburn than Next of Kin. I'm also so happy to hear you enjoyed the darker shades of magic, I've definitely bumped that trilogy further up my TBR
I love throne of glass series more too. My next favorite is acotar. Cresent City series to me is good but for me harder to follow

9) Keep Your Friends Close by Niki Keith
10) Enter the Darkness by Sarah Budd
I believe you haven't heard of any of those but I swear, you will enjoy them all.
4 & 5 are long books.
1 is 2 books in the series.
