Not sure why people overreact when seeing $300 worth of cards get pulled from a $1,000 baseball box? It happens ALL THE TIME in basketball and football. I’m not sure how many countless $1000+ boxes of FOTL football and basketball I’ve seen on CZcams yield VERY little (sometimes less than $100 worth of cards) yet people just keep rippin em like the dusting never happened. I just think football and basketball are more popular to the box-breaking community, so people tend to gripe less when they do get dusted.

Most guys from 70, 80s and 90s signed a lot. It was easy to get autos back then at spring training or at BP before a game. Easier access to MLB players back then compared to now or other sports
True, but he's talking about these guys signing a lot of current products, not that there are a lot of their autos around from the past (which is also true in some cases).
I like how the category for the Ryan card was "70's All-Stars," yet Ryan was in his Rangers uniform from the 90s.
Nolan Ryan was awesome. Would have liked to seen a 70s Uniform on him. Maybe two color patches with mems. Was fun to watch. Great video
When the uniform is from him as a Texas Ranger, they have to have him in the Rangers on the card. Would have loved to have it be for the Mets or Astros, such is life.

Guess now is a good time as any to let you know RGL; I have suspended my interests in the Sports Card game. I'd love to keep subscribing, but it's just not worth it. I have spent the last month trying to get into to all this and at the end of it all, I just can't bring myself to buy a $250-$300 box of 8-12 cards. I can afford it, but it wouldn't make sense. So, with that being said, I want to say thanks for ALL the information, the laughs and the hours of entertainment! You and Packman are doing so much for all these brands and companies and you guys deserve so much more attention and support. Good luck to you and the rest of the cards community, and thanks again!
I went to the first year they opened safeco field. It was the only day they ever opened and closed the roof. It was cool. Oh I also saw Griffey and the big Hurt hit home runs that day.
What’s more valuable? That Frank Thomas card auto or if you get him to sign a bottle of Nugenix?

Is there even a patch in either of those? It looks like it's just a white background with nothing in it. Even if there is, it's pretty pitiful that they can't even be bothered to put good looking patches in there for the amount of money they're charging
I would love to rip this stuff, but its sooooo risky. I guess its all risky but 2 cards is tough odds. You made a good point on the Ryan being in a rangers uniform, I wouldn't have thought of that.

The audacity to put two napkins on that Nolan Ryan for such a premium high end product as this. At this price point they should ensure each box produces a smile and a return customer not disappointment. A little color goes a long way.

Also, there's no reason these boxes should be a thousand bucks. $750-$850 seems a hell of a lot more reasonable, and they might even sell more.

I wish you got something better. But it’s shocking how these days, even a low number Ryan autograph is not worth too much. The hobby is flooded with autos almost like how early 2000s game used got over produced.

Nonsense. This box's price is artificially inflated just because of a 1/100 chance to get a good hit. Probably costs like $100 to make the contents of this box, and most of that is due to the autos. SRSLY. Thanks for taking a hit though and reinforcing to NOT buy this unless you have FU money. 😀
I’ve watched whole cases be opened and it literally seems like you lose 70-80% of your money… horrible value

Complain all you want about this, but it's not even close to how little you get in return from a National Treasures or Flawless for basketball or football. I'd much rather have 8 quality cards numbered 25 or less, including a guaranteed 1 of 1 from a case for $4000 over 8 crap cards and 2 dart throws for $5000-8000. Wouldn't pay that much for either, but if you're going to be a complete gambling degenerate, I'd at least like to feel somewhat good after opening.
Correct. You’re more likely to hit a $5k (5x) card from this product than you are a $2k (50%) from NT basketball. This product is just NT scaled down to 25% (2 cards for $1k vs 8 cards for $4k) with a better roi.
