I doubt they would do anything for Halloween specifically since Liberty Day (OCT 26) has always been the bigger day, equivalent to the 4th of July for America. More likely there will be a Liberty Day event.
Yah know. Things are starting to look up! Steam said there are ongoing discussions with Snoy about the region locks, Pilestedt is aware of the weapon balance issue and is probably trying to fix it as we speak, we have TONS of new leaks and events coming, and most importantly: the community is lively again. People are posting more clips, memes, and ideas instead of bickering and fighting. I think weâve (as a community) have managed to create a new age for gaming! And, with caution and awareness, we can continue to build something truly incredible!
All in all, I think we did it. We did the impossible. We saved the prosperity of Super Earth and managed democracy!

Talk is cheap. The game is horrible at the moment. Until I start seeing videos stating "they FINALLY fixed the weapons and other ridiculous things in the game" I'll just assume it's them trying to keep hyping a live service game to keep the interest going

The Weapons do need some readjustments for sure.

Meta? The only meta is the dull af shield pack, quasar and light armor combo. In pubs that seems to be at least 70% of players. Then of course add the 500kg
Pummeler + ballistic shield + AMR is currently king for me on bots. On bugs still, unfortunately, quasar just because titans are a thing.
Also medium armor with explosive resistance for bots, light grenade armor for bugs.
Maybe st higher levels. I donât play above 7. I always have an auto cannon, then some turret and then 2 air or orbitals. Love it.
ââ@@MzoroPL I was just about to say this!! I'm still baffled that I don't see people running this build, and it's on fucking fire! Saw a dude running defender today, so I told him to try the balistic shield instead of the bubble shield. The guy had tons of fun and even said hes gonna start using that one instead. People need to start experimenting more instead of watching "top meta loadout" videos. I even switch AMR with heavy LMG aswell, and yes, it can 2 shot hulks aswell.
Quasar is definitely not meta for bots
@@ttexas8317 100% is. 90% of my 7-9 games are people with Quasar/Shield, and two other call down stratagems, usually one or two eagles, or eagle/orbital. I've played probably... 50-70 games since the order to massacre bots came down, and that's pretty much the loadout for every game. You have to get out of difficulty 4 or w/e you play, and at the higher difficulties the meta tightens up to the most effective/efficient combos.
The simple way to balance shotguns/SMGs/rifles is damage fall-off over distance. If you want to reach out at a distance then choose the big-boy weapons, but if you want to blast away up close then go nuts with your shotty/SMG

I honestly think the AR category just needs a blanket rework.
Every weapon in the category, at least on paper, is designed to fill a role. The Liberator is your standard rank and file AR, the Lib-Pen is more of your heavy hitter, the Lib-Con is a crowd control option, the Adjudicator is a middle ground between an AR and a DMR, and the Tenderizer is a middle ground between an AR and an SMG.
I think tweaking values and adding a couple new effects to a few of them would help better establish that.
General Changes
- slightly increase recoil and handling on all bullpup style ARs except for the Tenderizer (statistically and realistically speaking, bullpup weapons have slightly more muzzle climb and more comfortable recoil control due to most of the weight being in the rear of the weapon)
Lib-Pen
- slightly reduce RoF, increase DMG, increase magazine size to 35
- add over-penetration on light armored targets, allowing it to shoot THROUGH smaller enemies
Lib-Con
- slightly increase RoF and DMG, increase magazine size to 40, decrease handling / reload speed
- allow consistent headshots to increase the stagger force gradually until you fully lock an enemy in a stagger state
Adjudicator
- reduce RoF in Full Auto, add a Burst Fire mode, increase magazine size to 30
- give this weapon a higher than average Critical Hit multiplier to reward precision
Tenderizer
- increase damage and lower the magazine size to 30 (this thing is literally described as a "high caliber assault rifle" and deals less damage than the Lib-Con)
- allow the weapon to change it's RPM, similar to the MGs, INSTEAD of changing its firing mode
i really want to see the recon veichle, it looks amazing and would be really fun if we had a mission with a long map, where you have to push the enemy back like a tug of war. đđ

Zombie skin for bugs
Imagine that there is a super rare stalker queen spawn, and if you kill a certain amount you unlock a special terminid armor with special qualities like some sort of resistance to terminid acid.
this game does not need chance related drops this is not destiny but a stalker queen does sound cool
@@wingedeternum I haven't played Destiny. I think it would add a layer of tension or excitement. Also a stalker themed armor as a trophy to wear on the battlefield as a terminid veteran would be kick ass.
Donât think there should be an item only the top few and those that can pay them can get, it will lead to a cast system for some and really damage the community
I like the idea of more progression, maybe they could include cosmetics for achievements with chance-related spawns or optional objectives like that.

I think it would be cool if the pelican is added to the fight as a side objective similar to how you have to setup SEAF artillery. This way it isnât competing against the eagle to being used but rather as a bonus
The larva are already in the game i think.
You can collect them as regular samples from certain POI's.
The POI that is just two graves / headstones and a corpse of the peraon who dug them, will have several larva wiggling around to be collected

I've never understood why the assault rifles do less damage than the SMGs. This makes absolutely no sense.
Halloween is also near the most important holiday, Liberty Day (October 26th), so there's no doubt there will be *something* going on, since that's when they released new stuff for HD1 back in the day. Still, wasn't expecting... well, THAT. đ

Ya, lot of weapons just feel bad, LAS-16 is my go-to for bots and Blitzer for bugs these days. Constantly calling in resupplies gets old when before I was able to generally keep myself close to full just on ammo boxes at POIs and only need the full resupply when things went wrong or extraction. đ

Thats funny cuz ive been doing alot of solos and i finish the main objs. And then i hit extract and then right before the countdown is about to end i leave the extract and the pelican will help fight the enemies on the map as i finish up other objectives. But interestingly enough i had AA nearby and when i went over there the pelican wouldnt come help until i took down the AA very interesting that that detail mattered

When it comes to the weapons in HellDivers 2, the assault rifles are akin to throwing a bowl of pasta at the enemy, except that some of them have the recoil of getting kicked by a horse.
The Purifier is complete garbage, while the shotguns feel just about as they should. The SMG's are for the most part bang on ( pun intended ). What kills me is that whomever is in charge of the balancing for the weapons and stratagems on the dev team, seems to not want the players to have fun, and therefor keeps nerfing the weapon platforms into the " no longer fun " category.
To a week break to play Fallout 4. Just came back to helldivers today. Still absolutely love this game with 300+hours.

1 meta is like mass it's a constant there is no getting rid of meta. 2 I"m not excited for the future until they buff everything. Give weapons a spot for a certain playstyle instead of punishing the masses bcause people like to do solo.

As much as I want to fight the illuminate, I'd like for them to hold off on releasing them for like another year (or longer) just bc I still think there is a lot more they can do with bots and bugs and creating new mission types, all of which could slowly build up to the illuminate in a fun way.

Imo counter diligence is much more meta than smgs against bots (one hit for devastators is AMAZING, and killing small groups of infantry before they call reinforcements with more ammo than the AMR is just too good).
Pummeler stagger is much more relevant against bugs... But against bugs I prefer spraying fire, so I can't really agree with the smg "meta" in both fronts. Can't deny it's a good weapon compared to the other unplayable stuff there is.
At least one Content creator that doesnt overdramatize the current Events

ive always liked the liberator concussive a lot, but after lvl 5, it becomes unviable, yet the pummeler is quickly becoming meta. so how to bring the liberator concussive up? without doing hardly anything at all, just dbl the stun lock. let it fire two stacks of stunlock w each bullet, making it the HARD hitting super stunner. the pummeler will still be goated w ballisitic shield on bots, but the liberator STUNNER will now command a place and respect as well.

Yeah I feel like if all weapons aren't represented equally for a loadout, then something is wrong. Either the most commonly used weapons are too powerful, or the unused ones are too weak. Sometimes it's about the ammo consumption, sometimes it's their power or fire rate. Either way, they might need to be adjusted so they more useful to the playerbase so they would be picked more often. [pumpkin emoji since i cant find it]đ„§
Reload time on the recoil cannon is way too slowâŠ. If you want ppl to use it make the reload time fast⊠but if you donât ppl will just EAT or quasar which u donât have to reloadâŠâŠ Helldivers is all about speed and needing to move & u lose an backpack slot as well
