    I haven't squatted in a while now. Had hip and sciatica issues. But I'm using the leg press. Works for me for the time being.

    Another great breakdown. I'm really loving the bloopers in this series.
    Favorite squat is a sumo.
    Narrow stance squats are horrible.

    To help the algorithm... my favourite squat is a wide plié squat.

    I was taught to cross over my hands on the barbell for the front squat. Long time ago so may no longer be best practice. It does seem to help the wrists a little.

    Two of the moves I have currently in my routine are, TRX squat to Y fly and banded goblet squats while holding a 25 lb weight.

    My favorite is db front squat. I do like changing it up tho! I get the most depth with a narrow stance squat or suitcase squat.

    Great tips! I love sumo for the longest time I thought that was how to get rid of the excess weight on my inner thighs lol. Now I know I like them because I struggle with hip mobility and squats are easier when my legs are wider

    I really want to purchase a barbell to try those. Sumo squats with dumbbells are the ones I usually do.

    Barbell squat, I struggle with the front squat as my left wrist doesn't have the mobility required.
    Love those minis videos loaded with key information.

    I can’t get enough of a 50lb kettlebell goblet squat lately. I build sets of 15 in throughout my day. It’s so full body!

    I love a barbell back squat because I feel quite strong when I go up in weight, but I very rarely have spotters available so I'm kinda scared of failing in a back squat, so my next go-to is goblet squats because they atleast feel safer for me to do!

    I like a goblet squat or a sumo squat. But sometimes I just do a few body weight regular boring squats at my desk just to move a bit during the workday.

    Hmm, I am unable to do narrow squats and suitcase hold properly without compromising my form and back. Also whenever I do normal (non-exercise) squats I do lift my toes. I absolutely need that ankle dorsiflexion stretches-and lose fat because my legs are huuugee.

      If you’re lifting your toes, that’s actually more dorsiflexion! I would recommend thinking of your foot as a tripod and pushing into the big toe, pinky, and heel as you stand :)

    I always thought that when you squat with dumbbells, you’re supposed to hold them, and not rest them on your shoulders.

      I’ve never done it that way because then the limiting factor are your arms, not your legs.
