- In this video we will be talking about, why Arcee was cut from Transformers 2007. Did you know that Arcee was originally going to star in the Transformers 2007 movie but was later replaced by Ironhide? In this video I will talk about why she ened up getting cut and will also be talking about her appearance in Transformers Revenge of The Fallen, the Bumblebee Movie, and the upcoming Transformers Rise of The Beasts!

Honestly it's also sad that it took one shot ONE SHOT from a protoform blaster to kill arcee meanwhile scorpinok a small and relatively weaker character took several fighter jet missiles, lots of ground fire, and a GUNSHIP is what it took to almost kill him
To be fair she had almost no armor around where she was shot. Scorpinok was covered in armor just about everywhere.
She also had no plot armor

I say relatively in a wide manor it's true scorpinok is bigger (and had waaaaay more plot armor) but arcee is stronger than scorpinok to a point only in a few ways tho what I mean is if arcee and scorpinok get into a fight a scorpinok victory is more likely and that's assuming she's without her twins (that also depends the location scorpinok can't tunnel in a suburban or urban area concrete and all) anyway arcee can kill characters the scorpinok can't but again if she's not by herself.......and honestly I wasn't really thinking 100% straight I was still getting over the way arcee was used in the bayverse 😔

For such an iconic transformer she really didn’t get much screen time in ROTF. My girl really got shafted

Its sad to hear that bay had beef with arcee. She is a very good charater in the transformers universe. But now we get to see her more in rise of the beast.
Arcee stole bay's explosions and ran, after that bay hated arcee with passion.
Despite Arcee’s lack of screen time in ROTF I honestly still like her design I know it’s controversial but I like it. I’m excited to see her in Rise of the Beast.

She was cut because they couldn't handle the massive amount of art that would have been created

I think it's insane that Arcee was cut since explaining female transformers would be too complex but they decided to take an entire scene to explain why a 20 year old and a 17 year old can date.
So explaining a female Transformer is hard, but showing a Combiner literally growing a pair and having a Transformer hump someone’s leg is perfectly understandable.
1: You don't need an explanation. They just exist.
2: Gender is a human concept and that the voice pitch and body type cause people to attach pronouns to them, with both sides not particularly caring what they're called because they're literally at war and couldn't care less how humans identify them.

@@RJ_200 I meant gender identity. Cybertronians are pretty much physically sexless so gender roles likely don't exist. The pronouns just come from assimilating human language into their system (or translated for audience convenience).

I always hated that conclusion in the transformers franchise, they weren't allowed to create Female characters in comics for the longest time its downright sexist, IDW comic's Arcee is actually said to be transgender cause of shockwave experimenting on her and that just feels wrong.

Just as well as Sideswipe. While I'm glad that SidesWipe had some cool moments he still could have been utilized a LOT MORE effectively.
I am honestly shocked bay just wanted to kill arcee as fast as possible. I mean she is one of the greatest characters of all time!

Yeah, I hope she does too. I'm glad she finally managed to be a main character again, and hopefully she gets some much needed screentime. She deserves it after all the stuff she went through, in the Bayformers continuity. Also when I heard that Nightbird was going to be one of the main characters of ROTB, I was pretty hyped. Even though Nightbird doesn't have many appearances in TF media, she's still a favorite of mine.

I remember watching the movies as the kid. Every time someone shows me, a clip of her in one of the movies, it feels weird because I literally don’t remember her in any shots (although the movies were always kinda all over the place. sorry, I know a lot of people say this but still)

Ironhide’s been my favorite transformer of the Bayfilms. And I don’t think I would’ve liked the BayVerse as much without him.

I hope we get an answer too as to why Osprey, Model T and Firestorm were cut from ROTF. (All three were autobots). They were seen in only concept art on Concept World but I do still think Model T appeared in the film as that "Seeker" from the photographs.

I feel like bay disrespected arcee harshly bc I actually like her a lot and want to get a figure of her she needs to be respected more

One thing I've noticed is that if Bay doesn't understand a character, they get the shaft......He didn't understand Arcee or her sisters, questioning why a race of robotic organisms would split into genders, and wondering how to explain it, which led to him having a disdain and general dislike for them and a quick death on their parts.
Then, there's the Dinobots.......Hasbro and Paramount wanted them in the films from Revenge of The Fallen on, but Bay shot them down every chance he got, deeming the idea of the Dinobots to be ridiculous, and wondering why, when the premise of the show or the movies is a bunch of robots hiding in plain sight by turning into various vehicles, again, just *why* there would be a team of Autobots that took on the forms of various dinosaurs.
He finally knuckled under and put them in the series in Age of Extinction, but the way they're done showcases his disdain for them.......They're little more than dumbed down animals........And that's saying something, seeing as Grimlock hasn't exactly been shown to be the brightest tool in the shed throughout this franchise's run......So, to say that Bay succeeded in dumbing *him* down says something about his overall disrespect for him, and his team!
Now, overall, I respect Bay's work in this series, but there are things that I have a gripe with, especially his stubborn refusal to better familiarize himself with this franchise or its characters.........Sometimes he gets it right, many times, it's a *dead* miss! And based on what I've read and heard, many times, those dead misses aren't the random, accidental miss Star Wars' Storm Troopers would be proud of, but calculated and intentional ones carried out during a temper tantrum after being told what to do........
Oh, and there's a pretty good Studio Series figure coming out sometime this year of her appearance in Bumblebee! It transforms into a Cybertronian motorcycle! Probably the most decent movie-verse Arcee figure we'll be getting!

I like to think that the 3 sisters survived ROTF were rebuilt despite dying and participated in the battle of Chicago, Chromia and Elita-1 would be killed by Cemetery Wind, while Arcee would survive and out run both Cemetery Wind and the TRF due to her being small and fast. She would find out that there were still other Autobots, but they were at the final battle of TLK, however she would hear Optimus’ message to all other surviving Autobots and that’s where the story ends. My favorite incarnation of her is TFP Arcee
The entire TF1 lineup was so weird, especially the Decepticons. We got Megatron, Starscream, Barricade, Blackout, Brawl, and BONECRUSHER. Whereas the Autobots got Optimus, Bumblebee, Jazz, Ironhide, and Ratchet. No objections there except for maybe I would've put in Wheeljack (not the dumb one we got in DOTM) or Sideswipe. Other than that, solid Autobot lineup for the first movie. But the decepticons, wtf?? Megatron and Starscream, sure. And I think what they did to Barricade in the Bayverse was awesome but how did they even land on him in the first place? I would've put, like, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave, and then like....instead of a fifth full Decepticon maybe give us a cassetticon like LazerBreak or Ravage. But I get that introducing all those guys in the first movie probably meant that Soundwave and Shockwave would been like obliterated in the first movie, which would've been a waste in itself. I'm also mad Springer didn't make the cut, the design they did up for him looked amazing. Osprey with the blades as knives on his hands. Maybe they could've folded into one blade and he could've used them as dual swords.
You should do a series on if certain characters were in the live action movies like Chromedome or Swindle.
It's interesting that they have Arcee planned in the 2007 movie. Even having a robot design that is honestly a lot better than her ROTF model. Also I know she was cut for weird reasons, like how they are going to explain robot gender in the film. However it would be interesting on how she would do if she wasn't cut from the movie, without replacing Ironhide.
I could include arcee to appear in the short live action canon film for Transformers: after life of the darkness retribution’s along with the resurrected autobots

my little tiny theory on how chromia actually died is when chromia went hiding behind that little building bonecrusher seen her and then he shot ironhide causing him to get knocked down then bonecrusher killed her there by smashing her then ironhide gets back up and in rage goes after bonecrusher causing fatal wounds to him forcing bonecrusher to retreat then when ironhide realizing theres nothing he can do to save the sisters he decides to help the rest of the bots and soldiers (bonecrush dies by the fallen later on)
I do wish she had some screen time maybe for like Transformers 4 she's probably my third favourite Transformer she deserved to have an appearence
This is sad for acree to be killed off but I'm so happy for acree to make her review in the bumblebee movie and rise of the beast. I'm hoping that in rise of the beasts we can probably see acree and nightbird fight if there are fighting in my veiw.
Probally that's what Michael Bay was thinking when he killed off Jazz Ratchet and Ironhide.

NFS, the thumbnail just reminded me that as a kid I used to own a Bayverse Arcee toy, I have ZERO recollection of what happened to it, which PISSES me off cuz that means my parents probably threw it away
Let’s hope she gets treated better than in her last appearance. She doesn’t have to be a main character, but at least not just one that appears for less than a minute and then dies.
Since shes apart of the main cast in Rise of the Beasts I hope she gets more screen time and she's just not a background character with like 2 sentences of dialogue.
Honestly, if they wanted to bring a female transformer in the first Bayverse movie, they could've used Elita-1, as she was Optimus Prime's girlfriend (or wife), and like Jazz and Ratchet, knows Optimus before he became a Prime. And since Michael Bay likes to forget about continuity, Arcee could've come back from the dead. But nope, let's have John Goodman and an Auzzie out of knowhere, instead of using the pre-established Autobots from the first three movies. Man I hate Bay's distain torwards Arcee, he treat her dirty.
fun fact. i had started thinking that arcee was protecting mikaela considering the bike....and it would have pretty good explanation in the second film. considering Prime called more autobots. and sam had bee. but bay be bay.

Yah, I mean Ironhide is the Autobot's heavy hitter. Jazz and Bumblebee are smaller then most of the Cons, so having Ironhide made sense with his powerful canons, hell after he died Hound was changed from more of a scout with his jeep mode to being the new heavy weapons guy, made him a big overweight soldier type packing a lot of heat. I would have loved to see Bumblebee and Sam partners and Arcee and Mikaela be partners, perfect pairing especially since Mikaela drives a motor cycle.

3:30 i love how they shoot themselves in the foot trying to make arcee into a motorcycle. they should just make her into a coupe just like her g1 version, 1992 dodge viper wouldve been perfect since they already have the dodge license. she would be around the same size as jazz and bumblebee but not bigger than both the male bots.

If Arcee was not cut from Transformers 07 film the automotive would have 100% lost but one question lingers around my mind why didn't they scale her up by changing her vehicle mode that would have given a better chance for her staying in the movies
