Todays tutorial is a a fun video on how to make a flip flop journal. Using a collection of envelopes glued in a series of folds to creat a journal that opens different ways.
It is a great way to use up you Stacy of envelopes and scraps.

Wonderful Michele! 👏🏻 I am so impressed on how you just grab a paper and cut into it without even looking at the back 😂 I have tons of pretty papers that I just look at and my brain says nooo it’s too pretty to cut 😅 I’m working on starting to use it all 🫣. I really love the bright papers on the first one you made- do you remember where you got it! So pretty florals! 😊 forgive me for laughing when your needle broke, your machine really gets to do it’s work for it’s living! 😂😂😘

I just made my very first flip flop journal and I had so much fun. I am amazed at all the decorating space I have to get creative has I begin to fill the envelopes, but also I realize that it will actually hold quite a bit of notes and fun mini projects. It's going to be fun filling up the enveloped and decorating it has I go. Thanks so much.

It’s lovely how you can make something beautiful out of nothing. Have you thought of hand sewing the sections? If you did each one as a pamphlet style binding (I.e. a single section binding), you’d only need to make 3 (or 5) holes with an awl and then use a bookbinding needle (or darning needle) & some waxed thread. It’s really easy to do.
