Thanks for the video & whole food plant base burger with spiciness that can be grilled on the Weber, which hubby & our son loves to do. We have lots of different chili peppers as our son loves to create different chili seasonings by roasting different chilis onions garlic etc. And I even had some pumpkin seeds. This will be delicious on our whole grain pita bread! I did not know that Mealthy made an immersion blender. You’re awesome!! I’m not Vegan but love vegan food and would like to transition to at least 60% vegan cooking….haha, if that makes any sense at all. I have histamine issues and working on my gut health to overcome those issues. I’d probably have to leave out some of pepper ingredients and wondering if there is another burger recipe without the peppers. I’m sure I could wing it and get this right but love to follow recipes. I already sprout my own broccoli seeds, do my own milk kefir, make my own L. Reuteri pro biotic “yogurt” and make my own nut milks. Thanks much for your video’s, love them!

Hi Kathy! Love your videos. Any ideas what I can use instead of onions and garlic I'm very allergic......so creating the flavor the onion and garlic have always given to my cooking has really left me stumped. Plant-based, whole food wouldn't be any problem if I could just use onion and garlic. Looking forward to the burgers.
You could try an Indian ingredient called hing. It smells horrible as is, but adds great flavor once cooked.
Asafoetida is an Intensely aromatic - flavor profile sometimes compared to that of truffles and garlic. Used as Tempering Spice. (Hindi: Hing हिंग).

Is there anything you can use in place of the nutritional yeast?
You could just leave it out or use a small amount of mushroom powder, tomato powder, or tomato paste in its place.
Have you ever used a Hatch Peppers?
I have a salsa with them, but haven't worked with them yet as a single ingredient. Is there a recipe you're searching for?
I don't care for the taste of flax, so I will use ground chia seeds in their place. Any reason you did not mention chia?
You sure can use a chia egg instead. I just usually use flax seed.

Looks yummy, but I hope you use organic potatoes. Conventionally grown are high in pesticides. It's counterproductive to eat WFPB for your health but fill your body with pesticides. Conventional potatoes are grown with cyanide.
