    I heard their collaboration with the orchestra in all five concertos in Avery Fisher at about the same time, but never found anyone in the NY community of tape pirates who recorded the cycle there. Thank you!

    Amazing, but if only she had played the longer and showier 1st mvt cadenza...with her stupendous technique, I'm sure she would have been more than capable

      She thought it less musical. Like using the Reinecke for the Fourth.

      @@henrigaziel2002 She thought those cadenzas were unmusical? Somehow I don't believe that; also, she did play Beethoven's cadenza for the 4th in many performances...

      @@Janaceks_Dad But preferred the Reinecke, which she recorded, as more musical. You can doubt it all you like, but that’s what she told me.
