Hello, I’m Joe - I’m a guitar player, singer-songwriter, producer, recording engineer and teacher!
On this channel you’ll find my original songs, covers and solo fingerstyle guitar arrangements. My favorite music doesn’t fit neatly in a box so you may hear me play folk, blues, jazz, & classic rock - you can call it what you want; I feel honored to speak this timeless language of melody, harmony & rhythm.
I was born on May 25th 1991 in Kempsey, NSW, Australia. Since 2010 I have been based in the US and currently live in the Rocky Mountains of Montana with my wife, Genevieve (who teaches illustration on CZcams!).
I play Maton acoustic guitars, made in Australia (just like me) and am very proud to have my own signature instrument, the JR Signature!

I am 58 y/o. I have only one guitar hero in my life. This guitarist if for me the best guitarist (and composer) in the world ever ... yes ... before Hendrix or anyone else ... He represents music for me, as it is one of his song that did hit my brain when I was a very young kid in 1972 (Naturally) and brought me to the music world, I was 8. I not only love the guitarist but I also admire the man, his spirit, his way of living ... that Man is J.J Cale ... You are the first (not even Clapton did succeed) I have heard so far who succeeded in creating the best rendering of that song with your cover. Bravo and Thank you !!

Beautiful playing, your level of musicianship is both amazing and inspiring. Had a Strat that colour in the late 90s, did everything so well and sounded great. Unfortunately someone wanted it more than me and lifted it when my back was turned. Funny how we always remember the one’s that get away !
